The value position is excellent - this hotel is well worth a stay. 눇Fabulous warm friendly service. 눉Lobby was nice with high ceiling and green garden had Banglore touch in centre of the city눇Friendliness of team and bed was great !! Overall great short stay . 눉Nothing눇The rooms are beautiful and modern and have a balcony overlooking the lush gardens and pools. I enjoyed spending time on the balcony, reading and watching the many wild birds that find sanctuary in the gardens. The staff are superb and look after you in a thoughtful and polite manner. The food is wonderful with lots of options, from European cuisine, to delicious Indian, Thai and Chinese. It is a well run hotel with the management ensuring the highest level of service and guest satisfaction. 눉Food was way below expetation. 눉The plates and cups were dirty. room with a balcony with great view 눇The staff was wonderful. Security was pretty awesome and the food - yummy! The room was clean. Well designed, clean and very comfortable! 눉I was unlucky, however, to arrive at a time of transition of senior management and therefore physical rebuilding of part of the property. Although a lot was done to try to patch up the awkward reality of disturbances, the situation was mismanaged to begin with. This will almost certainly not affect your stay. It seems that the bulk of the work has been done and the new general manager gives the impression of total professionalism. I came away feeling that I was perhaps partly at fault for not winning more sympathy for the noise pollution - this because Bangalore is noisy, and because the hotel filtered water upset my stomach, and I was not at my best. They do have the bad luck that Bangalore doesn't seem organised to care about noise pollution. The neighbours essentially run a nightclub at full volume on Sunday's.
Any of this kind of situation is likely to be fixed - The Oberoi Group will likely be able to handle it.눇I stayed for a month and there is a lot to like. This is the most personable hotel of its category I've stayed in. The staff are almost all wonderful - they skillfully and/or naturally negotiate the formal requirements with genuine personal interaction. Other wonderful things: the rain tree, the garden, the level of service aspired to (and mostly delivered beyond expectation). Oberoi is run by people who care and have attention for detail. It's an excellent place to make business contacts should you need to. It's also less popular with families than some of the other five stars, which also means that you have some the excellent facilities to yourself. 눇This hotel absolutely lived up to they hype about the comfort and hospitality. I couldn't have had a better stay. 눉The room service breakfast options are not the greatest.눇It's a slice of paradise right in the middle of a very busy and noisy city.

Babu Reddy, 40, walked into the salon on a fateful day in May. But the 30-minute session proved too costly for the Banaswadi businessman. A crick in the neck followed by the massage gave him a stroke. When Babu sat on the swivel chair, all he expected was relaxation. The salon employee massaged Babu till he heard a crack in his neck. Instead of being alarmed, he thought it was an indication of a successful massage.
When Babu started to walk back home, he realized something was amiss. "I felt uneasy, dizzy and couldn't walk steadily.""I thought I needed a little rest and managed to reach home," said Babu, who was admitted to the emergency ward of Columbia Asia Hospital in Whitefield in the next 48 hours in an unconscious state. Had it not been for timely diagnosis and treatment, the condition could have caused permanent disability or even death," added Dr Mahesh.Explaining the severity of the stroke, he said: "It is a very unusual neurological problem, which is often underdiagnosed and underreported as head massages are not delivered by professionals in our country. There is no point enforcing rules on local salons. It would be wiser on the client's part not to avail such complimentary services."Babu told TOI on Monday: "I was shocked.
