Each of the lodges and the Paxton Centre have been purpose built to ensure people affected by disability can make full use of all the facilities at Homelands. Within both the Paxton Centre and the lodges there is level access and widened door frames. There are two wheelchair accessible paths that offer access in and out of Homelands; one of these paths leads golf course and main road outside Homelands and the other leads to the main street in Lundin Links where all the shops and bus stops can be found. Each lodge has Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist in the downstairs bedroom and also in the wet room. Furthermore each of the lodges have an electric profiling bed, Cardy and Drummochy each have Pressure relief airflow mattresses and Massney and Keil have Invacare ‘Softform’ mattresses. In addition to this Drummochy and Cardy lodges each have clos-o-mat toilets in the wet room.
