This search does NOT include tents, food, sports, sleeping bags, cup-holders, technology holders or solar items. Camping tables and kitchen items are less important. Any innovations considered by Rio Brands will be reviewed to ensure they are able to be mass-produced and practical. In general, items should cost no more than $100 and average around $50. We ask for well-communicated ideas. This includes filling out our easy-to-use submission form to the best of your ability. Upload images, sketches and any other media that support your idea. Tell us why your idea is better than anything else on the market.
We even encourage you to create a video demonstrating your innovation. We aren’t expecting a big-budget production. Please keep videos to less than 2 minutes. As always, your submission should be unique and protectable (we love to see patented ideas but that certainly isn’t required). Each idea costs just $25 ($20 for Edison Insiders) to submit. Edison Nation splits all revenues 50/50 with you. Nice calm beach with fewer tourists than the other areas. The beach is all the way at the opposite end of Copacabana so take a bus there! The water is not as clean as feather up on Ipanema. It does offer a great view of Ipanema so we would recommend a visit! Leblanc beach merges into Ipanema beach. Absolutely gorgeous and maybe slightly quieter than Ipanema but just as good.
This beach is next to Ipenema (same stretch) and equally beautiful with superb views. Beautiful beach, I prefer it to the other beaches along this coast. Make sure you pop into Azur for a drink. Although well known by locals, located at the most expensive neighbourhood in the country, this beach is not as frequently visited by tourists as Copacabana or Ipanema. Nevertheless, it is cleaner, less crowded, less dangerous, and also very pretty. White sand, long beach, waverly waters, most of the time clean enough. A nice beach to go in Rio. Leblon beach is a beautiful but expensive place to hang out. Beside Leblon beach, there is Rocinha Favela which is very nearby. Rocinha Favela even has a metro station called Sao Conrado. It was my last day in Rio and I have got to visit the Favela. I went ALONE, bringing absolutely nothing except 20 reais, a cheap watch and... this beach is very popular because people do paragliding and other sports, waves are very rough so be mindful and there are no palm trees so is very hot, you need an umbrella to have some shade and lots of sunscree and a good hat
When I return to Rio I will definitely stay in Leblon - it has a beautiful beach and safe streets with great restaurants and bars Leblon's beach shares the same shore with Ipanema but is alot less crowded. It's mainly a local's beach. The sand coast is quite small, and there is a good volume of waves. There are usually people playing: beach-voley, futvoley, and beachtennis besides doing exercise.
