There is a lot of buzz going around about a new series of books which will be published under the name of publishing news. This time, it is a biography of President Obama that has been written by a former Obama White House advisor, who claims to have intimate knowledge of the workings of the President's administration. Now that the former president has been out of office for a little while, former staffers and others in the administration are leaking what they know about the former president in the hopes of harming his reputation or, at the very least, hurting his chances of being re-elected in 2021. If this isn't enough to scare the American people, I don't know what is. As if the media has not done enough damage to the United States of America already, now we have a former president who apparently still has some unfinished business to deal with.
The publication of such news is bound to spark controversy, as some readers may not be too pleased with such a public appearance by a former first lady and possibly first president of the United States. However, publishing news is something that is necessary for any type of serious publication, whether it be a serious magazine or newspaper, or even a fictionalized version of such a publication. In fact, one could argue that without such publications there would be less than half of what we call real news. It is a sad thing, but in the age of the Internet many people forget the difference between news and opinion, when it comes to things that are printed on paper and those that are posted online. This is a shame, as the Internet is one of the greatest tools ever created for the dissemination of information and opinions.
In many cases, publishing news can help to bring to light issues that might not have been known otherwise, such as the story of the twenty-sixth President of the United States, Andrew Johnson. This man was also a former First Lady, so it was only natural that he would also have a biographical book published shortly after his death. Now that this has been published it will give historians a great place to start their research immediately after reading this story. The publishing of these biographies is one of the best ways for writers and nonfiction writers alike to be able to reach a new audience and learn more about the people who were very much a part of our history, as they were indeed the President and First Lady of the United States.
