Our Wooden Cabins can be used for log homes, family homes, granny flats, servants quarters, lodges, offices, class rooms, etc. Below we have listed the different Cabins according to size. Please note the difference between the two styles depend on which material is used on the walls: Difference between Standard Cosy Cabins & Bushveld Cabins: Standard Cosy Cabins : The walls are made out of tongue and groove planks which are cladded onto a horizontal frame in a vertical position. Bushveld Cabins : The walls are made out of slightly rounded tongue and groove planks which are cladded onto a H-frame in a horizontal position. The sizes below are the actual inside measurements of the Cabin - the 1.5m veranda must be added to these measurements. The prices below are for Standard Cabins (floor, walls, door, windows and roof). Many Optional Extras can be added to further enhance our Cabins. The client is responsible for levelling the site and must supply bricks to support the Cabin (if Cabin is not to be build on stilts).
For delivery fees outside Gauteng or optional extras for Cabins please Contact Us. All Cabins come standard with a 1.5m veranda, corrugated iron roof, insulation under the roof and a sliding door. The Bushveld Cabin style can be build with an engineering certificate thus enabling us to build large granny flats in municipal areas. Please Note that the remainder of the styles as far as the roof, floor, windows and doors are concerned remains the same - the only change as mentioned is the difference in the actual wall. The wall height of a Cabin is 2.1m and the roof is corrugated iron with Alucushion insulation under the roof. The windows are cottage pane wooden windows already glazed. The door is a wooden cottage pane sliding door. Please note that locks and handles are not fitted to the sliding door - should you the client require this, it can be fitted at an additional charge.
