preparations and procedures necessary to become freelance

Before explaining in detail the freelance work style, I would like to introduce four work styles that are currently mainstream.

Belong to a company

This way of working is probably the most common in Japan today. There are multiple types of employment, such as full-time employees and contract employees, but it is a form of working in an employment relationship with a company.

Freelance

As I will explain in detail this time, more and more people are now choosing this way of working. It is a work style that does not belong to a company and works by concluding a contract for each client or project.

Side job / double job

It is called double work or parallel work, and it is a work style that involves multiple jobs as a living business.

Side business

This is also increasing in recent years, and although the main source of income has been decided to be one, it is a work style that makes use of free time to earn additional income.

Of the above four work styles, this time I will explain the second "freelance".

One of the merits of working freelance is that it is easy to imagine that you are free. If you look at the blogs and SNS of those who work as freelancers, you will find that they are enjoying studying abroad and traveling abroad, and some of you may feel envious of "freedom."

On the other hand, I think that the merits of belonging to a company and working directly by employment are "a stable life" and "a solid foundation for living".
