Boca Raton Development Corp Lewis is just fantastic to work with. Highly recommend this Company without hesitation. Reliable, efficient, quality work and nice prices. Although I contacted 3 companies from Home Advisors, Alan was the only one who got back to me. He was honest, fair and explained everything in detail so you know ahead of time what to expect. We had 6 doors that needed to be cut and hung and as expected, NOTHING aligns properly. However, Alan worked on each door to ensure it was PERFECT before moving onto the next. His attention to detail is great and he won't give up until it's done right. We recently had a lot of work done through Lowe's, etc. and the difference in attitude is like night & day. Alan cares about his work and his clients..something hard to find these days. Average Price to Install or Replace Interior Doors:

That’s not to mention the unusable wall space the door occupies when open. By gliding on a track that disappears into the wall, pocket doors reclaim that space and increase the usable square footage of your home.Is the additional space worth it? It’s not exactly an open and shut case. For starters, unless you’re dealing with new construction, you’ll need to demolish a wall. Here’s what else you need to know before giving the sledgehammer a heave-ho.Benefits of Pocket DoorsSpace. With more available wall space, you have room for furnishings or freestanding storage. However, avoid penetrating the pocket-door wall to hang shelves or artwork—nails or drywall anchors might damage the door or prevent it from sliding.

Instead, use adhesive-backed wall hangers. (Easily removable versions that don’t damage walls and hold up to 20 pounds are available).Create a clean, airy look when you do away with bulky hinged doors. Door styles are limitless.People of all ages and abilities can operate pocket doors easily.Drawbacks of Pocket DoorsPrivacy. Because they don’t close as tightly as hinged doors, pocket doors don’t seal out sound well from one room to another.Installation of a pocket door means demolishing and re-framing a wall, so plan to haul a few wheelbarrow loads of old drywall and wall studs out of your house. Before demolishing the wall, investigate what you might find inside: plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling ducts. If rerouting these is an option, it will come at a price—anywhere from $300 to $800. You’ll also need to determine if the wall is load-bearing, and if the door opening needs to be reinforced with a header. What Do They Cost?Top-quality pocket door kits feature heavy-duty, ball-bearing nylon rollers guaranteed to not jump off their tracks, and studs wrapped in metal to prevent warping.

Kits are available to fit 2x4 or 2x6 wall construction. Kit cost: $150 to $350; add $350 to $550 for professional installation, depending on the complexity of the demolition work.Make sure your door opening is square, plumb, and level. Cut corners on hardware quality or installation procedure and you’ll risk having to redo it all down the road.Click to Rate05/25/2016Brian came in and was a great worker. We had a pocket door that didn't work. I was afraid that the whole door would need to be removed with the drywall. Brian to the rescue! He provided 1 price and it didn't deviate. My dog loved him !!!. Drywall wasn't messed with. The door works great !!!! I would definitely recommend him.ShareFlag01/27/2016Brian left my house about an hour ago after spending the afternoon repairing a set of pocket doors that go from my living room to my home office. The guy is an expert pocket door repairman and really knows the job he is doing. He gives no excuses, just hard work. He is super neat and cleans everything better than it was before he started.

He had to remove extensive moldings and case work to get at the de-tracked interior part of the door. He had constructed special tools to get at the old damaged track and install a new one. He completed the job and caulked everything properly before finishing up. I have had extensive remodel work done on a bunch of former residences and even had a career as a building project manager....and I can tell you the guy is a professional and hard worker who takes his word as far as price goes, seriously. I am happy to rec this guy to anyone and to add him to a short list of Florida contractors that I would happily use in the future.ShareFlag10/11/2015Brian did a great job! He's a perfectionest and won't stop until the door is perfect. I am very happy with his work.ShareFlag11/11/2014Large sliding glass door was extremely difficult to move after 10 years of daily use. Brian from Accutrack replaced the wheels and refurbed the door's aluminum track and now the door works effortlessly. Workmanship and professionalism top notch.

Fair with price--as quoted over phone for wheel replacement--but added to quote to refurbish the damaged track which he could only have known upon visual inspection, so no fault to him there. ShareFlag08/21/2014We had a real patio door problem. After 13 years the door would hardly open. Brian took about 90 minutes to fix the problem and my wife now opens the door with one finger. Brian is a real gentleman and very competentShareFlag08/05/2014After calling several companies and even having one company out to assess my situation, I was fortunate to have Brian from Accutrack return my call. To start, he was professional from the beginning. When we spoke on the phone he took the time to trouble shoot the problem and offer advice and an estimate of the cost to repair. When he came to my home he explained everything to me and possible solutions based on my objectives. He fixed the doors and at a price that was fair and consistent with the phone quote. It is hard enough in South Florida to find companies that provide good services and to find a company that does exceptional work at a fair price is rare.
