The Polypropylene molded plastic is durable and has a little give to accommodate the sitter, but it is not designed for rocking. Bouncing or rocking over an extended amount of time could damage the chair. But if you are looking for a rocker specifically, we can help! That sounds like a great space! The Vitra Panton Chair that comes in chartreuse is definitely more on the green side of the spectrum than a canary yellow for instance. Although the lighting in your space (LED vs. Halogen vs. natural light, etc) may change the color appearance slightly, it will generally still appear more green.
