Can I transfer the ownership of my bot to another account?

Preparation:
Make sure the recipient of your bot actually has had a conversation with your bot before starting the transfer, also make sure you have either their contact or their username.
Steps:
1. Open a conversation with @botfather.
2. Send /mybots or /start and choose /mybots.
3. Choose the name of the bot you'd like to transfer ownership for.
4. Choose Transfer Ownership.
5. Choose Choose recipient to select the Telegram user you'd like to transfer your bot to.
6. Type the username of the person you'd like to transfer the bot to (format @username) or share their contact to the chat with Botfather.
7. You'll now receive a confirmation message to verify your ownership transfer, make sure that all is correct and if so, hit Yes, I am sure, proceed.
8. If you have a two-step verification password set, enter it to finalize your transfer.
9. Done! Say goodbye to your automated friend, it has a new owner now. The new owner will receive a notification from @botfather about the transfer.
