DC Super Hero Girls are an alternate reality version of DC superheroines that have been yanked back into high school. Wonder Woman got her own Super Hero Girls action figure during San Diego Comic-Con, but at New York Comic-Con this week, there’s a lot more love to go around. Lego is showing off all six of their upcoming DC Super Hero Girls sets, including a first-ever reveal of the three sets slated for release in January. The sets coming in November, Lego has already shown off. They’ll get started with — what else? — the school itself. The Super Hero High School set will be the most expensive at $80 and will include figures for Supergirl, Lena Luthor, and Poison Ivy. While the sets themselves will consist of standard Lego bricks, the girls won’t be minifigures, but the mini-doll type of figurine used in the Lego Friends line. We’re on the fence about that, but it looks like a lot of attention has been paid to detail on these mini-dolls, so it’s hard to complain too much.

November will also see the Batgirl Batjet and Harley Quinn to the Rescue, the latter of which tells you how alternate of a reality this is. The former includes Batgirl, while the latter features Harley’s cafe and a couple of Kryptomites, along with a Harley Quinn mini-doll. Today, Lego is releasing three pictures of the sets planned for January. Naturally, our favorite is the Wonder Woman dorm, which has the benefit of having a Wonder Woman mini-doll along with the unsurprising revelation that Wonder Woman’s dorm room is the best. Bumblebee gets a helicopter set, while Lashina picks a fight with Supergirl’s dog, Krypto, which seems like a pretty unheroic thing to do. The November sets will arrive on November 27 and will cost $25 (Batgirl), $30 (Harley), and $80 (the Super Hero High School). The other three sets should be available on January 1 and will cost $15 each, except for the Wonder Woman Dorm, which is rad enough to demand $20. BOOK CLUBS IS NOW THE Please Select a Format:
