The Circle (black metal design)I. Scope
Design is the planning and drawing of something before it is made.
Posts must relate to metal music design (logos, layout, typography, print/production, sometimes artwork and photography, etc.) and/or the people who make it.
Good posts: work-in-progress, post-mortems with notes, research, technical/production insights, costs/business, “how it was made,” and informed observations.
II. Conduct
Stay on topic. Criticize work and decisions, not the person. No flamewars. Annoying motherfuckers will surely be banned.
Debate, skepticism, satire, and strong language are fine.
Edits/deletes: Telegram allows it, but don’t use edits/deletes to change what you said after replies arrived. If you got something wrong, prefer a follow-up correction. Admins can see edits; manipulation can lead to warning/ban.
III. Entry
Join the group with a profile that looks human.
Your name must be identifiable to admins (no “no-name” accounts).
If your account is unidentifiable or set to high privacy, introduce yourself to one of the admins first.
IIII. Keeping the community trustworthy i.e. immediate ban for:
- Unsolicited DMs to members (contact only if they explicitly asked to be contacted first);
- Suspected underage users;
- Posting content that is illegal under applicable laws;
- Proselytizing, religious/political campaigning or advocacy or identity declarations (keep it out of here).
V. Questions & complaints
