Despite of cleaning, the room was full with dead flies. We removed them ourselves. During the phone call, when it was explained that they cannot accommodate two people in a room for three, it was agreed the type of room we''ll get. Unfortunately when we arrived the situation was not like it was agreed.
With help from staff, the next day everything was solved. There was no WIFI at all half of the time. During the time it was present, the strength was not good enough (for youtube for example).눇Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious and clean rooms, especially the bathroom. Location -15min. walk from Dospat center. 눉No negatives overall, but do keep in mind this is a room-only basis family hotel and doesn't offer breakfast or cooked meals. There is a faculty to do your own cooking or as we did you can walk around the dam take some lovely photos & venture into town.눇Very clean rooms with comfortable beds, overlooking the forest in a quiet remote location right at the top of the dam. The lady owner works at the reception herself & was very welcoming and friendly. Suggested a nice restaurant in town for dinner. 눉NO SWIMMING POOL ! it's a dirty fish pool and very dangerous for children. No protection around it. 10 minutes driving from Dostpat, no breakfast service.
You have to bring your own food and cook there. 눉1 - In order to get hot water from the tap and the shower you need to keep the water running for more than 5 minutes. After that you actually get the hot water. This is really strange and a total waste of drinking water. 2 - At some point in the morning right before we checked out the TV and the hot water were cut off. Maybe this was a way to tell us that we need to leave the room.눇Everything was good! 눉Nothing really, Dospat is a very small town, so there isn't much to do.눇There was a kitchen and bbq area so you could make your own food. The area is very quiet, near the water and surrounded by trees. Even if the room was small, it was very clean with a nice bathroom. 눉- no privacy at all, especially if your room is on the 1st floor! The place is good for familys with children, but I don't recommend for couples - very noisy, because of the children - not easy to find - the hotel doesn't have it's own restaurant and the nearest place, where you can buy is 7 km away.
