We un-rolled the mattress and laid it out on our bed as per the instruction, taking about 2 hours or so to fully deployed. That night was the best sleep my wife and I had ever had, total satisfaction. Everything worked out as planned and as per your direction in the store in early May.When we woke up that first morning we discovered what a deep sleep was about, realizing how little we were sleeping before and how poorly the quality of our sleep was until we laid down on our “Dormeuse”. As we discussed when we purchased it we were overdue to change our 24 year old foam mattress. We started thinking about it a couple years before but we never really became serious to change it until a couple months ago. We did extensive research on the internet and spoke with many people which led to our focus on buying a memory form mattress, aiming at Temper-Pedic. We quickly found out that hardly any salesmen seem to know what that product was about. They seem to approach their clients the same away as if they were buying a conventional coil-spring bed, very little knowledge of the memory foam itself or what’s the difference between numerous colour coded mattresses.
We couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone as to where the foam is from or how it’s made, the difference between a 10 inch mattress versus a 13 inch one, and why some are more expensive than others. We decided to further research alternatives to Temper-Pedic.We found out about Essentia by reading blogs on the internet, all of which were very positive comments with a very high degree of satisfaction far above any other mattresses.. We became very curious when we learned Essentia was a Canadian company with a store in Ottawa and which led us to you that Monday morning. Disappearance of our back pain almost immediately.By Brian and Jacki Ferguson A few months ago we were at our wits end with back ache and general sleep discomfort with our current brand name matress that we paid dearly for. We decided to bite the bullet and venture into the matress hunting jungle again. By chance we stumbled across Essentia in Westboro in Ottawa. On our arrival we were greeted warmly by Mitch. He suggested we try outtake matresses on display and take our time. There was no pressure or hovering, what a relief. We do not know if Mich realized that when he indicated we should take our time it would take hours for us to decide and that we would have plenty of questions, but he was obliging and did not rush or push us. He just answered our questions and continued to indicate to us to take our time. Essentia's return policy was very reassuring. The great news is that our investment in a Classic mattress has resulted in the disappearance of our back pain almost immediately and the only fault we have now is that we have trouble getting out of bed in the morning ( just too comfy).
