TIC Mattress Recycling's new automated facility eliminates intense manual handling, manages dust and other waste extractions whilst ensuring the recycling of mattresses is done safely. By systematically demanufacturing mattresses, each component can be properly separated so that it can be re-used in other products, and further reducing the volumes of waste being sent to landfill.
TIC Mattress Recycling partnered with Soft Landing TIC Mattress Recycling is working with national social enterprise group, Soft Landing. Soft Landing will provide logistics in Melbourne and Sydney to collect mattresses from transfer stations, retailers and manufacturers, as well as process mattresses that are more suited for manual deconstruction such as bed bases and ensembles. "Working with TIC Mattress Recycling for the collection and recycling of our mattresses and furniture has provided confidence that we are working with a reputable organisation; their commitment to the environment and to customer service is exceptional. TIC Group Tackles the Mattress MountainSalvos Stores welcomes both corporate and personal donations - without these, stores would cease to operate. Donated goods are sorted, distributed and sold in stores. All profits go to The Salvation Army for use across its invaluable community programs.
