Large, private bathroom with wainscoting and shower stall Maximum occupancy is 2 Can accommodate a pack-n-play portable crib Cannot accommodate a cot The historic main house of our Burlington, Vermont bed and breakfast has three stories with a front and back staircase (no elevator).  Staff members are available to help guests with luggage upon arrival and departure. The Carriage House is a two-story structure that is located behind the main house.  It has a small entrance area where cookies are delivered daily. Guest bedrooms are appointed with period furnishings, but feature modern accents as well.  The innkeeper enjoys decorating guest bedrooms with an eye toward comfort and understated elegance.  There are no doilies or over-the-top Victorian décor. For our potential guests’ convenience, still photographs and virtual tour links are available for each guest bedroom.  These visual aids allow you to obtain a real feel for each room’s layout and amenities — in a word — personality.

The still photographs provide the most up-to-date views of our guest bedrooms. All Lang House on Main Street guest bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.  Three bedrooms have tubs (Allen and Captain Lyon bathrooms have standard bathtubs and showers, and the Garden Spa room has a two-person Jacuzzi and separate shower stall); the other eight guest bedrooms have shower bathrooms. Make sure to view our Burlington, VT packages and specials and book a getaway to remember. Prices cited for Lang House on Main Street guest accommodations are the per night charge for a specific room based on single or double occupancy. Rates vary depending on the time of year a reservation is made. The first rate cited is the standard room rate. The second rate reflects our peak season rate, which is in effect from May through October, 2015. Some holiday weekends such as the Memorial, Labor and Columbus Day weekends as well as other holiday and special event weekends may have special rates, and minimum stay policies.

In addition to the room rate, guests are charged 11% rooms and meals taxes. There is a charge for additional guests (including children 13 years and older). Not every guest bedroom can accommodate more than two guests – please note that only Captain Lyon, Tuttle, the Garden Spa and McClurkin can accommodate two or more guests. Upon request, we are able to set up a pack-n-play portable crib in most bedrooms. See our Policies page for important Lang House policies including advance deposits and minimum stay requirements for reservations.book online / check availability & rates The Garden Spa - Click here for Rates and Availability << PREVIOUS ROOM NEXT ROOM >> The Garden Spa suite is our largest guest bedroom, offering numerous comforts and amenities. The suite includes the convenience of a micro-kitchenette (great for making tea or heating up left overs), a small fridge, an intimate dining area, a Jacuzzi spa, and a desk and chair (for those who bring their work with them!).

Also in the suite is a wood and wrought iron daybed, which provides a comfortable place to sit on cool nights.  From there, one may enjoy the warmth of the Vermont Castings gas stove along with a bottle of wine, and our Vermont Artisanal Cheese plate. The Garden Spa suite underwent significant renovations in 2015.  Our website showcases a number of new or improved features, such as an updated color scheme, changes to the private, half bathroom, and a custom queen bed headboard with a new mattress set. A major upgrade was the installation of an oversized, marble and porcelain tiled, glass-enclosed shower, surrounded by a heated tile floor to add to our guests’ comfort.  The shower also features a rain shower faucet head and body jets.  While the Jacuzzi and shower are part of the guest room layout, the toilet and bathroom sink (half bath) are private. The Garden Spa room is accessed through a private, outdoor entrance at the back of the inn.  Guests walk down five steps to find themselves in a terrace-level room with exposed brick and fun, garden themed accents.
