Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange London, 14 October 2015, 10:30am In a bold new collaboration with de Pury, A Visual Odyssey: Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) presents more than 300 objects, spanning eight different categories, across three different centuries and with estimates that range from just £20 up to £3 million. The democratic and contemporary spirit of the Lambert Art Collection is a testament to a pioneering collecting vision of Baroness Marion Lambert and her late husband Baron Philippe Lambert. Featuring works by giants of contemporary art such as Christopher Wool, Ugo Rondinone and Mark Bradford, photography from Henri Cartier-Bresson and Erwin Blumenfeld through to Cindy Sherman and Andreas Gursky, and furniture spanning a Louis XV ebony bureau plat and cartonnier, a 1920s screen by Jean Dunand and a late 1980s desk and chairs by Donald Judd, each item testifies to the same exacting eye and flair for collecting across the ages.
