Liposomal (1,000 mg) Vitamin C with 30 mg of Glutathione (makes 30 servings = 1,000 mg Vitamin C + 30 mg Glutathione per serving) A Liposome is a way to encapsulate something to make it more bioavailable. It does this by creating tiny nanospheres that surround its cargo, and can get the product directly into the body via the intestinal walls, without having to go through first pass of the liver and be broken down or simply excreted. That is enough to reach therapeutic levels, which would be impossible with conventional Vitamin C products, even natural foods (although we don’t recommend you give up natural foods because of all the other constituents to be found in them). To put it another way, Intravenous will put 100% of content directly into the vein. Liposomes will achieve about 98% to 99%. Normal Vitamin C will be in the blood, and some of that will get into cells, and some stay in the blood stream, but typically 19% at the most. Liposomal Vitamin C will also get into the blood, but because the Liposphere happens to be made of oils that the cell walls are composed of, it can get into cells at about 8-10 times more efficiency (according to Dr Thomas Levy at the 35th annual cancer conference). That means that even though you might be taking a much smaller amount of Vitamin C, it is used much more efficiently. In addition to that, we have managed to increase the content of Glutathione to 30mg, which may not sound like a lot, but when you consider that under normal circumstances Glutathione has approximately a 3% rate of absorption, and we can increase that to around 98%, then it is very useful.
