Most of the recliners are sized by the following small (5’4 and under) with a weight capacity of 300-375 lbs. Medium (5’5-6” tall) and usually have a weight capacity of 375 lbs. Tall lift chairs are for individuals 6’1”-6’6” tall and have weight capacities of 375 lbs. We also provide extra wide lift chairs that have a 375,500, or 700 lb. weight capacity. How do I get the lift chair into my home? When ordering the chair you will have a dropdown selection for delivery and you will see three choices: Free Curbside Delivery, Front Door Delivery or White Glove Delivery.
If you don’t have the ability to get you the lift chair out of the box yourself (the lift chairs weigh around 125 lbs.) then we suggest you use white glove delivery. If you have a large front door (typically 36 inches or wider) choose front door. If you can unbox the recliner and put it in the house easily then choose free curbside delivery. We have made a video showing this process. Do you need a one or two motor chair? The Best way to describe this is a one motor chair is run all on the same scissor mechanism meaning that when you recline the lift chair, the back goes down the feet go up at the same time. On a two motor chair the back is independent and it gives you the ability for infinite positions because you can leave your feet and back where you want without having to compromise one of them.
