There have been many iterations of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but now the latest one has come to iOS devices. Let us have a moment of silence for our productivity, because we're likely to just obsessively break bricks while on the go now. Warner Bros. has finally seen fit to unleash the Complete Saga on us, allowing us to play through the LEGO-flavored stories of a galaxy far, far away. While the game is the "Complete" Saga, the download only comes with Episode 1: A Phantom Menace. But hey, at least the rest of the series is available for you to purchase. All of the trappings of a good LEGO game are present in Star Wars: The Complete Saga. You'll run around as some of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars mythos, ranging from the beloved Luke Skywalker to the much-maligned avatar of justifiable hate, Jar-Jar Binks. Each character can run, attack, switch control with different characters and activate their own unique, special abilities. For example, the Jedi characters can use the Force to manipulate objects in the environment or toss enemies around.

Other characters have innate abilities, such as Jar-Jar and his super jump. You'll find that, in order to advance, you need to combine the abilities of everyone in your party. There are two control schemes: touch controls and classic. With touch controls, you move your characters by dragging your finger around the screen. If you'd like to interact with objects or non-player characters, all you have to do is double-tap on them. Objects that can be used or attacked with usually be highlighted when you tap them. I wouldn't recommend this mode because there's not a lot of accuracy when it comes to your actions. Sticking with the classic controls makes a set of virtual face buttons appear on the right side of the screen. The bottom button is jump, the left button is attack, the top button allows you to switch control of characters when near them and the right button activates character-specific abilities. A virtual analog stick will appear on the left side of the screen, wherever you decide to press.

You'll have more control with this setting and far less aggravation. The Complete Saga may have been released six years ago, but it still looks pretty good, especially on the new iOS devices. If you've got anything with a Retina display, then your eyes are in for a treat, because the action looks like it came straight out of a console. The sound design is just as crisp as ever, giving you that satisfaction that comes from hearing the sound of bricks being collected or snapping together to build something bigger. While LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga might be a pretty beefy game packed with content, the biggest downside is that you'll have to spend $14.99 to unlock all of it. As it stands, you only get Episode 1: A Phantom Menace with this 800 MB download. If you decide to get each episode, then you'll have to shell out $2.99 per episode. It's all good though, since the free content in Episode 1 is enough to keep you busy for a good while. And if you're ever feeling especially frustrated, you can always relieve yourself by smacking Jar-Jar with a lightsaber ad infinitum.
