A reader has posted the above image of a new LEGO Star Wars brick-built R2-D2 (30611) polybag on our Facebook Page. There’s no word on the origins of the image or how to obtain this polybag at this time but I can say that it will be a pretty popular one when it is available. Update: It seems that the initial images was found over at Minifigure Price Guide. This guide will explain how to quickly farm studs in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This method can earn players hundreds of thousands of studs in a matter of minutes.

Studs are the primary currency in the LEGO games. Studs are a particularly valuable commodity in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as they allow players to purchase characters and other valuable items. This guide will show you how to rack up thousands of studs in mere minutes. Unlike the previous games, this method of stud farming won’t require tedious grinding, and is actually rather simple. The best way to farm studs is by playing the Dejarik Battle mission. This mission is available within the Millennium Falcon hub area. You can start the mission from within this hub area, or from the outer galaxy map. To access the mission from the hub, go over to the seating area where R2D2 and C-3PO are, and interact with the table nearby. From the galaxy map, open the Millenium Falcon and select Dejarik Battle from the menu. Open the Dejarik Battle menu and select Play. You will be taken to an arena battle on the table surface, where you must fight off waves of enemies. You can take control of several large characters on the table, but all you really need to do is smack the enemies to death.

After completing each wave, you will be rewarded with a ton of studs littering the table. You should be able to nab at least about 100k studs per wave with minimal effort. However, to increase your stud gains, you will need to build up a multiplier bonus by making consecutive hits on enemies. Your goal should be to acquire and maintain a x4 multiplier throughout the battle to maximize the amount of studs earned per wave. Your multiplier bonus amount is indicated beside your stud total in the upper left corner of the display. The best way to maintain the multiplier is to simply spam your melee attacks and try not to let your combo get interrupted. Save your special attacks for the harder enemies at the end of the waves, so that you can maintain your multiplier throughout. If you were able to maintain a steady x4 multiplier through each wave, you should be racking up over 500k studs in just a few minutes. Keep in mind that you can also use Red Bricks to enhance your stud farming efforts.

The Stud Magnet Red Brick will increase your stud collection radius, allowing you to pick up studs more quickly after each round. There are also stud multiplier Red Bricks that you can unlock prior to the battle to increase the value of the studs earned. This article may contain links to online retail stores.
