Visit a galaxy far, far away during this Lucasfilm-authorized event, which features some of the most famous scenes from the Star Wars™ saga made out of 1.5 million LEGO bricks in our LEGO Star Wars™ MINILAND Model Display. Activities will include appearances by costumed Star Wars™ fans, LEGO building activities inspired by Star Wars™ characters, settings and stories, and a Star Wars™-themed costume parade for kids. It’s the only LEGO Star Wars™ theme park event in Florida! Here at WIRED Culture we like to think that our interests are broader than one might expect. And most of the time, that’s actually true. However, any illusions we might have of expansive tastes or a refined palate go out the window when you start talking about slow-motion videos of LEGO Star Wars vehicles being destroyed. So when the crew behind Battle Damage decided to celebrate Star Wars Day 2015 by spending 16 hours building an $800 LEGO Star Destroyer—only to film it taking a nose dive in slow-motion—we were more than a little excited.

When they followed that up by assembling and then exploding six more Lego Star Wars vehicles, we wanted to throw them a Royal Award Ceremony on Yavin 4. And now, to prepare for the release later this week of Rogue One—a story about the detailed steps it takes to carry out an epic destruction—we pulled all of those LEGO Star Wars destruction videos (and the behind-the-scenes looks at how they did it) in one place. Watch your childhood dreams come true. Giant Star Wars LEGO Super Star Destroyer Shattered Try not to cheer when LEGO Admiral Piett flies from his post as this giant Imperial ship falls to its demise. How We Epically Obliterated an $800 Lego Star Destroyer Sometimes, peeking behind the curtain takes the magic away, but this video is more fun than the original. It’s got it all: time-lapsed Lego building, sweaty-palmed guys in lab coats, and a 1,000 frames-per-second Phantom camera on a custom track. Star Wars Lego AT-AT Takes an Epic Fall at Hoth As they say: the bigger the Imperial all-terrain armored transports, the harder they fall. Star Wars Lego TIE Starfighter Gets Smashed by Asteroids Sir, the possibility of successfully navigating an asteroid field is approximately 3,720 to 1. Star Wars Lego X-Wing Fighter vs. Death Star Say what you want about Darth Vader—the man can fly a TIE fighter. Behind the Scenes: Star Wars Lego X-Wing Fighter vs. Death Star With two crashes and 1,599 lego pieces, this shoot was only slightly easier than fitting two proton torpedoes into the Death Star’s thermal exhaust port. A Millennium Falcon Lego Replica Plummets Into Jakku As far as we know, it got there in Lego form. Star Wars Lego Death Star Gets Destroyed with a Baseball Bat
