I want to buy Lego mindstorm EV3 and want to know where can I get lego kits cheapest. Do they have them at duty free stores in airport as well? One destination mentioned in this post There is no Lego store in SF. The closest one to San Jose is at 2855 Stevens Creek, Santa Clara.

You need to call them to see if they carry the specific item you want, 408-247-8071. Will you have a car and where in San Jose? There is a Lego Store at our local mall at Valley Fair It seems pretty extensive. But most of the local toy stores and other places have an extensive collection of Legos as well. Try Target, Toys R Us, Walmart. I am not sure if there is any "cheap" Legos - my impressions are the prices are pretty uniform. Yowza - that is an expensive fancy kit. There is a Lego brand store in Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, which is right across from the Cal Train Hillsdale Station . I'd check their website, and see if they have the item in stock or if you can pickup at one of their stores. Lego at duty free may be a stretch at any US Airport. If you have a car you can go to the mall that Chinita suggests but if you don't you can purchase it online and have it delivered to your hotel I know AMAZON carries it and you can have it delivered same day -

LEGO set to open new San Francisco store with free giveaways 08.26.2016 :: 8:27AM EST alexriviello San Francisco Lego fans are about to enjoy their very first retail store. The new Lego store will open on 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25 at the Westfield San Francisco Centre Mall at 838 Market St. To celebrate the opening they’re kicking things off with lots of free giveaways, so it’s in your best interest to get there early.

The first 400 customers to make a purchase every day this weekend will receive a freebie, a different one for each day. On Friday you can get a free Lego backpack with a purchase of $50 or more. On Saturday the store will give out 400 limited edition Lego sets will a purchase of $99 or more, and on Sunday they will offer an exclusive Lego minifigure with a purchase of at least $50. While this is the first Lego store in San Francisco proper, there are three stores in the Bay Area- at the Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara, the Hillsdale Shopping Center in San Mateo, and the Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton. Lego loves to show off their master creations in their stores, making them mini-museums for mini-figs. This one is no exception. The store will have a “Master Builder” on hand constructing an eight-foot tall model of Jay from Ninjago, and customers will even be able to aid him in his creation. The build will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day this weekend, because serious Lego require serious work.
