Parking Level 2 near Macy's First Level, next to Microsoft When I walked down 23rd Street, I was amazed and delighted by looking at the variety of characters made by Legos. Because that made my day, I took several photos looking into the store from the outside. I absolutely loved this store. If you go to NYC you must stop in Rockefeller Center and the Lego Store is right there, so you cannot miss it.

My husband and I bought the Beatles Yellow Submarine Lego. It has amazing stuff on Star Wars as well. Denmark 5th January 2016 RE: Visit to Lego Store, Rockefeller Centre, New York I feel I must contact you directly to make you aware of the most fantastic service my husband and I received at your LEGO store during a recent visit to New York. It is a retail shop for Lego products. Perfectly located at the Rockefeller center. The shop itself is beautiful, organized and clean. Wonderful displays of Lego designs and buildings. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not too much choices when it comes to articles to purchase but you will find something to buy at the end. This store is a popular tourist spot (it's in Rock Center, duh!), and has an amazing staff an lots of cool displays. Of course, the prices are higher here because of Manhattan rents. If you're a local and just wanna buy LEGOs, head to the Queens mall location for the cheaper prices. Visited during the busy period and had another look around when it was quiet, great set of displays and made my partner want to buy everything in the store.

All the legos seemed to be the same price as the ones you buy in store, maybe a bit more or less with a few sets, and I liked how you... I've read some of the reviews expressing sadness that this is just a Lego store, of course, its not Legoland, its a retail premises, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun! There are a few local treats, like the Statue of Liberty (although the fridge magnet is better than the build your own), there are plenty of boxsets from... The Lego Store was very crowded both times we visited. Other than a small NYC lego building display, this store was very much like all of the other Lego Stores we have visited. This is just a store that sells legos. I was expecting more, a place where kids could interact but there was nothing. Just boxes of legos and displays that kids cannot touch. Think they are trying to get gear it more towards collectors rather than children. We have nothing this side that can compare ..... the master builders have been so busy that the place took my breath away !!!!

I really loved the openness and the fact I could buy the blocks I neededA LEGO Store is a store dedicated to selling LEGO products. There are stores located throughout North America and Europe. LEGO stores sell LEGO sets and minifigures alike. There is sometimes a "Pick-a-Brick" wall where the buyer can choose which individual bricks he/she wants to buy. LEGO Retail Stores usually have events going on, and the most recent is the LEGO Store Monthly Mini-Model Build where one day (the first Tuesday each month) you learn how to build a new mini LEGO set. There are also LEGO Club meetings several Saturdays each month. The meetings occur one hour prior to store opening and require advance reservation. For approximately $25 attendees receive a "grab bag" of LEGO bricks, a themed t-shirt and an hour of fun, theme-based building with fellow LEGO fans. LEGO stores have special displays called "picture frames" in which sets in cases are shown off (usually there is also one or two at a time at all Target, Wal-Mart, and similar stores).

These retail displays are then sold in employee auctions once they are taken down. There are known as Display Models sometimes have lights and sounds, and one or two functions on the bottom by pressing buttons or moving a lever. There are also giant display models, not of sets. These are usually unique to a store, and are only found at LEGO Retail Stores. They are always glued, and are often giant versions of sets or minifigures from themes, although they also have many unthemed giant display models at stores. During the three day long grand opening celebration of a new LEGO Brand Retail Store location, an exclusive commemorative LEGO set is given out to the first 300 customers who spend US $35.00 or more in the store, usually on the second day of the event. This small model somehow represents the city in which the new location has opened, and the LEGO model shop in Enfield, CT; USA is usually responsible for the design. However, local AFOLs (Adult Fans of LEGO) have been known to be contacted by the company when in design of a new location's commemorative set.
