Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and R2-D2 are included. The Y-wing is comprised of many blocky elements, which mainly comprise a SNOT technique that runs along either side of the cockpit and past the midsection to the engine joists. The cockpit, at the fore of the ship, can accommodate Anakin and a select few other Minifigures - it cannot accommodate a Clone Trooper. The cockpit features a small control pad with a black 1x1 tile representing a tactical display. Behind the cockpit is Ahsoka's bubble-turret, which can be accessed by lifting the dome and cannons away. The small space can seat a Minifigure of almost any size. R2-D2 sits behind the turret in a droid socket.

He is connected to a missile launcher underneath the fighter's body; when R2-D2 is tilted backwards, the missile fires. Plates, tiles and slipes make up the fighter's upperwork. The engine pods are comprised of cylindrical parts, with peg-mounted long plates and studs attached for decoration while tapering to thrusters that feature wheel rims and purple dishes. The engines attach to the the main boy via pegs and holes. This Y-Wing Starfighter was used in the Clone Wars. It was mainly used for bombing missions because of its huge payload, and it has a bubble turret for defense against enemy fighters and missiles (inspired by WWII bombers like the B-17 and B-25). It can seat a pilot, a gunner, and one astromech droid.Do not modify it. Fight for the Republic with Anakin Skywalker™! The model featured above is based on the first rocket that SpaceX successfully landed (Flight 20, Orbcomm OG2 M2), it has: If the project gets 10,000 ‘supports’ over on LEGO ideas, they might turn it into an official set. However if you want to build one right NOW DAMMIT, you can purchase the parts seperately and make your own kit. Many of the parts (but not all) can be purchased directly from the official online LEGO store.

The parts with a ‘LEGO Element ID’ listed below can be purchased from LEGO. The parts with ‘n/a’ as the Element ID can be purchased from collectors. Bricklink is like ebay for LEGO pieces, people have little stores where you can purchase new and used LEGO parts. The trick is to try and get as many of the parts from as few stores as possible (to save on shipping costs). For my own model, I got half the parts from the LEGO store, and the other half from ‘The Hellmouth’ on Bricklink. However you will find the pieces used for the fairing are a little rare and difficult to find, so below you will find three variants. The first stage is the same for all, but you have a choice of three different second stages. A fairing based design for launching satellites, a dragon capsule for transporting cargo to the international space station and a dragon v2 capsule for ferrying people to the international space station. So get the parts for the first stage, as well as the parts for what you want to insert into orbit (fairing, dragon or dragon v2).
