This starter set contains world-renowned Snap-Track, a quality model track system, developed and manufactured exclusively by Atlas. With this track you will find that your first layout will be a snap to assemble! The original 40" x 56" layout you construct can be easily expanded as you become more involved in the hobby. The code of a piece of track is the height of the rail in thousandths of an inch. Code 83 rail is .083" high, and is more to scale than code 100 track.

Atlas code 83 track is compatible with most code 100 track, by the use of Atlas' transition joiners. Your snap-track starter set contains the following nickel-silver* track items:*Nickel silver, an alloy of copper, zinc and nickel is ideal for model railroad track. Compared to ordinary steel track, nickel silver track has long been known for its superiority in maintaining electrical conductivity after long periods of use. Size of this preview: 726 × 600 pixels. Other resolutions: 291 × 240 pixels | 581 × 480 pixels | 930 × 768 pixels | 1,239 × 1,024 pixels | 1,600 × 1,322 pixels. Set 588, released in 1979, was the first police station for Lego's Town series. Although numerous police stations were released by Lego over the years, this one still stands out due to its unique yellow/green color scheme, rather than the more expected blue. With three vehicles and four minifigures, this is a great set to play with; in fact, I actually had this one in childhood, before losing a few pieces and giving the rest of it away.

Due to the age of this set, yellowing of some white bricks is quite considerable, nevertheless this set is complete, in decent condition, and very presentable. The European-market Set 381 was identical to this US-market set. Here is the completed set, seen with two additional vehicles and a policeman comprising Set 540, Police Units, which is the US-market version of European market 644, Police Mobile Patrol. With a fleet of four ground and one air vehicles, this is one very formidable police force. Set 540 was thrown in for free by the eBay vendor who sold me Set 588. 24 September 2012, 18:08 Lego Town - Sets 540 and 588 InSapphoWeTrust from Los Angeles, California, USA This file is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 Generic license. to share – to copy, distribute and transmit the work to remix – to adapt the work Under the following conditions: attribution – You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).

I built Dino set 5887 recently, but the sticker sheet contains one extra sticker: one of the 'D' things, the pentagram one. One went on one of the walls, the other two round 'D's went on the chopper. I went through the instruction manuals 17 times to find it but for the life of me, I cannot. Is it correct that I have one spare sticker on this one? That's definitely an extra. I checked the instructions to confirm this.
