Well doneVerified purchase: Yes | A Batmobile with a clearly labeled “Emergency Bat-Turn Lever!” Cesar Romero’s Joker, complete with makeup’d over ‘stache! An official “DICK” LEGO piece! The classic Batman television series hit the airwaves on January 12, 1966, so LEGO has put together a 2,526 piece tribute to that monument to campiness in the form of set 76052, the Classic TV Series Batcave. It’s got everything you need for endless Bat Adventures.

You want tiny, blocky versions of your favorite TV heroes? How about the most despicable TV villains? Or your most stalwart TV butlers? Our story begins within the halls of stately Wayne Manor. Master Bruce and Dick are enjoying a relaxing day of banter when a call comes through on the Bat Phone. Four of Batman’s greatest foes have taken over the Gotham Polecat Museum! With a flip of a secret switch a hidden door opens. Down the Batpoles they go! Careful lads, it’s a long way down—and a long way back up! They’re ready for action, but how will the Dynamic Duo make it to the scene of the crime on time? Do they take the Batmobile? But oh no, they’re already too late! The vile villains of villainous villainy are assaulting Wayne Manor! And now they’ve breached the Batcave itself! How can our heroes possibly make it out of this scrape? Have the villains finally won? Would you pay $269 for an 18 inch high, 22 inch wide LEGO replica of the best Batcave ever?

Tune into your favorite LEGO retailer on March 1 to find out! or find him on Twitter@bunnyspatial.The Lego Batman Movie has opened day and date in 60 markets this weekend and so far has pulled in $12 million at the box office. The animated pic is tracking 49% ahead of the first installment, enjoying the beginning of school holidays throughout Europe, and seeing what the studio says is “excellent numbers” across Asia where some countries in the market had sneaks over an early Chinese New Year period. It is also outperforming the first installment in Eastern Europe and in Latin America even though kids are in school. When rolled out its original IP, The Lego Movie, in February 2014, it took 12 days to reach $200M worldwide. Now a known (and fan-based) franchise, the second installment should get there quicker. Lego Batman is on track for a domestic haul of $54M-$55M and while it’s surpassing Fifty Shades Darker in the U.S. by about $6M so far, overseas it’s a different story: Fifty Shades is really dominating the marketplace (see related story), having released two days earlier.

The Lego Batman Movie is playing on 13,685 screens. In the UK, it is ranking No. 2 behind Fifty Shades Darker but nonetheless has grossed $1.1M from its 1,441 sites. Including previews leading up to release, the running cume is now $4M, on par with the first installment. Mexico generated a strong $489K on 968 screens (again, on par with the first installment), and also ranked No. 2 behind Fifty Shades. In Spain, Lego Batman took in $220K on 406 screens, also No. 2 behind you know what, and coming in 5% ahead of the opening day for The Lego Movie. France has a running cume of$806K, ranking in the top five as school holidays continue to expand across the market. In Germany, it is also behind Fifty Shades for a No. 2 spot, with a two-day cume of $549K from 895 screens. Several additional states begin their holidays on Monday. Elsewhere, the Thursday-Friday cume in Brazil is now $453K from 777 screens and also No. 2 behind its nemesis from Universal Pictures. In Russia, it ranks No. 3 (behind Fifty Shades and John Wick 2) at $391K on 1,962 screens and in South Korea — where the country is enduring a cold snap — it is in the top five at least, with a running cume of $316K over two days from 465 houses.

Finally, in the UAE, Lego Batman has a cume so far of $309K and a No. 2  spot.Minifigures, also known as Collectible Minifigures, is a theme introduced in May 2010. Each series consists of polybags which contain 1 of 16 unique and exclusive minifigures. A new series is released every three to four months, with sixteen new unique and exclusive minifigures in each series (excluding the 8909 Team GB Minifigures, which includes nine minifigures and 71001 Minifigures Series 10, which includes 17). The minifigures can be based on movies, sports, fiction, history, or just average "a-day-in-the-life" professions. Each minifigure contains new elements in the form of accessories or uniquely printed body parts. Thirteen regular series, and three special series, have been released to date. In addition to regular series, five sets based on the theme exist, 850458 VIP Top 5 Boxed Minifigures, 850449 Minifigure Beach Accessory Pack, 850791 LEGO Minifigure Birthday Set, 850486 Rock Band, 850487 Halloween Accessory Set, and possibly more to come.

There have also been some other sets released that were affiliated with the theme. Most of the sets contain redesigned minifigures that have been already produced but some of them are completely new, different and exclusive. It had a MMORPG named LEGO Minifigures Online, but it was shut down in 2016. The Collectible Minifigures, or Minifigures theme was introduced in . The first sneak peek of the theme was in the , which included a of the minifigures. Each series, except the and , contains sixteen minifigures drawn from a wide range of different settings: movies, sports, history, everyday life and almost any other source imaginable. They are intended to be collected and traded, and designed so interesting new minifigures could be acquired without purchasing an entire new set. Every minifigure features high detail including special, often purpose-made, accessories and a black display base, with the exception of 8909 Team GB Minifigures, which has a white display case. The theme features new accessories such as maracas, microphones, skirts, guitars, and other new elements such as hair styles, hats, and helmets.

Series 1 and 2 include some spare accessories, but subsequent releases discontinued this practice. Many of these elements have not been produced in any subsequent sets. The minifigures are sold in individual opaque polybags, meant to prevent buyers from identifying the contents. One way you can attempt to get a minifigure and knowing what is inside is by feeling the packaging. In the boxes, there are common (5 per box), uncommon (4 per box) and rare (3 per box) minifigures. However, barcodes on the backs of the polybags of Series 1 and 2 can be used to identify the respective minifigure, and in response, Series 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, 8909 Team GB Minifigures and 8 use a "bump code" along the bottom of a package instead. These bump codes are designed to be much more difficult to distinguish. Each polybag contains 5-11 elements including a minifigure, accessories, a display base, and an instruction/checklist booklet. Each series is only available for a limited time, which is usually three to four months before the next series is released and will be able to replace its predecessor.
