Lego Marvel Super Heroes é tudo aquilo que os fãs podem esperar dos heróis da Marvel… e muito mais! O último título dos “bloquinhos” da Traveller's Tales é um jogo divertidíssimo onde o universo dos quadrinhos se juntou aos tijolinhos amarelos com perfeita harmonia. O modo principal do Lego Marvel Super Heroes é aquela história conhecida dos jogos da série Lego. Você se movimenta em alguns cenários fechados - na verdade bastante amplos - e deve avançar solucionando quebra-cabeças e destruindo inimigos. Durante o percurso, você pode recompilar peças e outros objetos extras que trarão alguma surpresa. A diferença dos outros jogos Lego para o Lego Marvel Super Heros é a facilidade de realizar uma missão. O jogo indica quase todo momento o que fazer para avançar, seja com mensagens de textos (“Precisa usar um personagem grande para romper esta porta”) ou indicadores nada discretos, como o sentido aranha do Homem Aranha. Apesar deste fator, o jogo é muito divertido e as fases estão bem desenhadas.
Os cenários dos quadrinhos podem ser destruídos completamente e você pode chegar a diferentes áreas com facilidade. Além da clássica repetição de níveis com diferentes personagens (assim é possível alcançar áreas restritas), você pode jogar em um mundo aberto e fazer pequenas missões ou, simplesmente, andar pela cidade com seu personagem favorito sem preocupação. O grande acerto do Lego Marvel Super Heroes é a forma que a Traveller's Tales transmitiu as características de cada personagem dos quadrinhos em forma de Lego. Cada superpoder é muito parecido com os poderes originais dos heróis. E, por sua vez, estão bem adaptados à forma como é utilizada durante o jogo. Por exemplo: Hulk pode se transformar em Bruce Banner e vice-versa. O poder de destruição dele está acima da média. O Homem Aranha tem vários jeitos de usar a teia. A Viúva Negra possui um arsenal de equipamentos mortal e é a mais indicada para resolver os puzzles. Como não poderia deixar de ser, todos os poderes foram ilustrados com grande senso de humor, típico da série, mas respeitoso com as características de cada personagem dos quadrinhos e filmes.
O motor gráfico dos títulos do Lego tem sofrido com o passar dos anos. Se antes parecia um espetacular, agora limita-se a ser agradável. E por acaso é necessário algo a mais de um jogo direcionado para todas idades? Os poderes dos personagens não só estão bem desenhados, como a aparência física está impecável, incluindo aqueles personagens de proporções grandes, como o vilão Galactus ou o Homem de Areia, que oferecem alguns dos momentos mais espetaculares do Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Também vale destacar que a recriação da cidade de Nova York, que atua como cenário do mundo aberto. Se você já viajou pela cidade, reconhecerá alguns edifícios e monumentos famosos na estética Lego. Em relação à trilha sonora, a Traveller's Tales fez um bom trabalho. Tanto como na dublagem (ainda que a ausência desta nos jogos anteriores não é uma perda significativa), como nos temas musicais usados durante sua jogatina. Traveller Tales conseguiu, outra vez, usar uma franquia muito popular e transformá-la em Lego, resultando em um jogo muito divertido.

If you can also collect parts and other foreign objects along the way, then you'll enjoy some surprises. Unlike other Lego games where, despite a low level of difficulty, you sometimes have to think a little to get to the next stage, in Lego Marvel Super Heroes, the way forward is very clearly laid out. The game tells you almost all the time what to do to next, either through messages ("You need a large character to break through this door") or with really obvious indicators such as Spider-Man's 'spider sense'.
Despite this simplicity, the game is very entertaining, as each phase is very well designed with fully destructible classic scenarios and the resources to access different areas. Besides the classic repetition levels that let you unlock new characters or areas, other highlights include an open world where you can carry out short missions or simply get the chance to explore the city with your favorite characters. The greatest success of Lego Marvel Super Heroes is how Traveller's Tales has managed to convey the essence of each cartoon character in the form of a Lego doll. Each superpower of each character is very successfully shown: they're very similar to the comic book heroes and, in turn, they're very well adapted to the typical mechanics of these games. For example, Hulk can transform into Bruce Banner and vice versa, and his destructive power is above average; Spider-Man has various ways in which he can use his webs, and the Black Widow, in addition to being skilled in combat, is the team "scheduler" and the one who can solve puzzles.
Of course, all these powers are illustrated with Lego's great sense of humor, but a sense of humor that's also respectful of the characteristics of each character in the comics and movies. The graphics engine in the Lego games shows its age. What seemed great to us a few years ago is now limited to simply being eye-catching. But do you need more of a thinking game for all ages? The Marvel characters are not only well designed in terms of their powers, but their physical resemblance to the originals is also remarkable. Physically bigger characters, such as the villains Galactus or The Sandman, offer some of the most spectacular moments in Lego Marvel Super Heroes. The way in which New York has been recreated is also remarkable, and it functions like an open world scenario. If you've ever walked through the city of skyscrapers, you'll be able to recognize buildings and some of the famous sights, all converted, of course, into a Lego style. The sound guys have also done a good job, with more than acceptable dubbing (although I continue to enjoy the Lego games undubbed), as well as a soundtrack that draws on themes that have been composed for the various films of the Marvel stable.
