The free roam mode is completely explorable and includes unlockables and collectables. Henry Wu (Target)30320 Gallimimus Trap (Gamestop)One of the best parts of LEGO Jurassic World is being able to play as a dinosaur. It's just crazy fun. Before you can change into a T-Rex or Brachiosaurus at will, you have to unlock those dinos within the game. This is done by finding "Amber Bricks." These special bricks are found exclusively within the game levels, not the hub world.

There's one Amber Brick per level, with 20 Bricks/dinosaurs (and levels) in all. Once you've found an Amber Brick, you'll be able to conjure the corresponding dino at will from the blue Dinosaur Maker kiosks scattered around the game's two islands. Some of the smaller dinosaurs are also available from the standard character menu, such as Velociraptors or the venom-spitting Dilophosaurus. Unlocking some of the bigger dinosaurs gives you access to "baby" versions in the character menu. Want to fast-forward to unlocking all 20 dinosaurs? Or maybe you've got most of them but can't find those last few that elude you? Here's how to get every last Amber Brick, aka dinosaur, in LEGO Jurassic World. We're throwing in a description of what abilities each dinosaur has, too. Note: With few exceptions, you won't be able to access a level's Amber Brick unless you're playing in "Free Play" mode, which gives you the ability to switch to any unlocked character at will. Found in level: "Prologue," Part 2 (The Dig Site) Abilities: none Where: In the upper area, there's a dark cave to the left of the spot where you build the ground-pounding radar machine.

Use Timmy, Ian Malcolm or another character that can enter dark spaces to walk inside and get the Brick. Found in level: "Welcome to Jurassic Park," Part 2 (Triceratops Recovery) Abilities: Charge Where: Look for a breakable wall (with gold light coming out of it) in back of the very last part of the Triceratops pen. Use the Triceratops to ram it. Found in level: "Park Shutdown," Part 3 (T-Rex Chase) Abilities: Venom Spit (breaks black-and-green bricks) Where: When the T-Rex opens his mouth to roar, throw a flair into it. Do this three times, then drive to the far-left of the road. Hug that side until you run into the Amber Brick. Found in level: "Restoring Power," Part 2 (Maintenance Shed) Abilities: Distance Pounce, Track, Dense Foliage Slash, Brick Build Where: At the bottom of the stairs, turn right. A small pile of dino-poop is there. Use Ellie, Owen or another poop-diver to pull out the Brick. Found in level: "Visitor Center," Part 2 (Control Room) Abilities: Roar (shatters amber deposits), Dinosaur Strength Where: On the far left side of the room is a blue/glass panel that a screamer like Lex can break.

Shatter the glass to get the Amber Brick. Found in level: "Isla Sorna," Part 3 (Stegosaurus Herd) Abilities: Tail Swipe Where: Use the Baby Triceratops to ram the three gray boulders. Found in level: "InGen Arrival," Part 2 (Mobile Lab) Abilities: Access Compy Tubes Where: Up atop the cliff, use a female character/jumper to jump up the side of the mobile lab's front half (while the back half is dangling over the cliff). Keep jumping until you reach the top of the vehicle. You'll jump right onto the Brick. Found in level: "The Hunted," Part 2 (The Long Grass) Abilities: none Where: There are five characters waiting to be rescued in this part of the level. Some of them you'll need special characters for — a poop-diver and a photographer — but the game makes it self-explanatory how to get them. Save all five and the Amber Brick is yours. Found in level: "Communications Center," Part 1 (Compound) Abilities: Quake Stomp Where: Use a Velociraptor to track your way to a dig spot.

Build the loose pieces to get a blue target. Use Barry or another character that shoots electricity to hit it. Once the garage sign lights up, shoot it. Found in level: "San Diego," Part 1 (San Diego Docks) Abilities: Quake Stomp Where: On the ship, you'll find it inside a large, dark box between the biggest cage and the cargo hold where the T-Rex is trying to escape. Use a character that carries a light (Ian, Timmy, Zach) to walk inside, and you'll find it at the far end. Found in level: "Landing Site," Part 1 (The Landing Site) Abilities: none Where: Atop the wooden platform, have a jumper (any female) character to run inside the radio tower at the back left. (It's a non-Lego tower with a satellite dish.) You'll see the Amber Brick hovering just behind it to the right. Hop up to the left onto the jump wall, then immediately jump right. Found in level: "The Spinosaurus," Part 2 (The Crash Site)Abilities: Roar (shatters amber deposits), Dinosaur StrengthWhere: In the small clearing with the part of the plane that crashed vertically, use a poop-diver to retrieve some loose LEGO pieces.

Use them to build a rail, which a Velociraptor can jump up and grab. Hop up to the platform above to grab the Amber Brick. Found in level: "Breeding Facility," Part 1 (InGen Facility)Abilities: noneWhere: In the very first room of the facility, you'll find a desk on the far right with a computer monitor on top. Use a jumper to leap up and grab a rail right above it. From there, you can access the rafters. Follow the zig-zag rafter path, balancing until you reach the ladder at the far end. Climb the ladder and you'll find the Brick in a rotunda on the roof. Found in level: "Eric Kirby," Part 2 (The Coast)Abilities: Flight, Pteranodon SwitchesWhere: On the plateau where Compy's attack, walk up to the left-most ledge and a red-and-white marker will appear. Use Billy and his parachute to glide across the gap to the left. Use a jumper to get over the fence, then a Velociraptor to open the InGen crate. Found in level: "The Bird Cage," Part 2 (Pteranodon Nests)Abilities: Roar (shatters amber deposits), Dinosaur StrengthWhere: The Amber Brick is located up on the roof of the human access catwalk.

To reach it, walk to the right until you come to a yellow crate. You'll see a planting spot; use Ellie and her amazing magical watering can to grow a bounce pad. Use the bounce pad to reach the top of the catwalk, then switch to a climber like Billy or Owen and keep going leftward until you reach the Brick. Found in level: "Welcome to Jurassic World," Part 3 (Indominus Paddock)Abilities: ChargeWhere: The Amber Brick is easy to spot inside a cage at the center of the paddock. Just to the left of it is a scanner panel that someone like Claire Dearing or Supervisor Nick can use. Do so, and the gate will lower to the ground. Found in level: "Gyrosphere Valley," Part 1 (Gyrosphere Escape)Abilities: Tail SwipeWhere: While trying to escape from the Indominus Rex, the camera pans around to different angles. Once it reaches the point where your Gyrosphere is moving to the right, you'll notice a series of ramps on the far side. The third ramp is crucial; when you get to the end, jump your Gyrosphere (yes, they jump) over a short gap, and you'll run right into the Brick.

Found in level: "Out of Bounds," Part 2 (Indominus Escape)Abilities: Roar, CamouflageWhere: At one point in this level, right after Indominus' head punches through a wall, you'll build a giant chainsaw. In the next area, look for hanging blue-and-purple flowers. There are three of them, and when you get close to one, a target will appear. Shoot all three using a character with a gun, and the Amber Brick materializes at the front edge of the room. Found in level: "Under Attack," Part 1 (Main Street)Abilities: FlightWhere: While the Pteranodons are attacking Main Street, make your way down the left-hand sidewalk. Switch to a female character to acrobat your way across the electrified water. On the other side, look for the tiny store with the "Clothes!" sign on it. You should recognize the pink-and-purple agility bar by now, indicating that you should run towards it and tap your jump button when you get close to have your character slide under the bar. The Brick is inside the store.

Found in level: "Main Street Showdown," Part 1 (Innovation Center)Abilities: SwimmingWhere: On the far left side of the main room, bottom floor, you'll find a security terminal. Use a hacker character on it, and you'll be rewarded with access to a hidden room. Enter the new door to reach the "Extraction Lab," then switch to Owen Grady or Eric Kirby and activate their camouflage ability. Sneak past the camera on the back wall into the tiny side room, and then switch to a character that can access InGen hand scanners. Use the scanner, and the large cabinet will open, spilling all of the amber samples out onto the ground. The Amber Brick you seek is the biggest of the bunch, floating in the middle.
