Overall - really busy, boiling hot inside, expensive cafe inside, noisy (I ended up with massive headache) Dragon... This is not an easy place to recommend. I visited it with my son, age 8, and he was too old for most of the stuff here. As a parent this is close to living hell - being locked deep in a basement with 100s of kids yelling and playing - and nowhere to be. The expectations was high, but... I remain torn about this place a week after visiting.
If I was rating the place as my 3 year old it would be an easy 5 / 5. However, as an adult its a generous 3 / 5. As an avid Lego fan I had big expectations for this place particularly after paying the €18.50 admission fee (times two... thank you so much for sharing your impressions. Our main goal is to score a 5 at kids opinion but certainly also would like to have the parents enjoying as well. Your LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Berlin Team There is nowhere to leave the coats at entrance Queue to enter is mostly placed outside minus 5 degrees....entrance hall not for visitor but for lego sales Areas under lego construction empty No accessible toilets, proper area to eat. Long Queue for only attraction No windows, basement location. Lego buildings only a few buildings and a few... Visited with my 7 years old daughter. SHe is too old for this place, although advertised that it is even even for children at the age of 10.

The staff were very friendly and one even went on a ride to help my daughter. The activities are interesting albeit unspectacular. The location is very central with great transport links. I would definitely recommend a visit for kids from ages 2-6 but only if to put are already in Berlin. Not worth travelling to... We enjoyed the dragon train and the fabulousminiland thanks so much for your feedback. Love that you all enjoyed your stay and we will take your statements to the team to discuss. I have a huge LEGO fan, but this place was too packed to enjoy. Granted - we did go during the week after Christmas and kids were out of school. However, we purchased our tickets on-line in advance and still stood for over 30 minutes in line, outside, in the rain to get in during our timed entrance. I am not pleased to hear that and I am sorry you experienced your stay at our attraction as you describe. We do have one of the best price offers online which you cannot purchase directly at entrance till - so you should have saved money being it in advance. And yes your are right - we... We visited mid week on a cold December morning. It wasn't mobbed - as you'd expect it to be at the likes of a weekend, or peak season. This meant we had ample space and time to get round everything. Its a great place to give the kids a break from trudging round the sights of Berlin.
