[View All on One Page] If you’re as big a Jurassic Park fan as we are here at The Mary Sue, you might be asking yourself, “Didn’t LEGO already make a Jurassic Park set?” The answer is, technically, no. Back in 2001, there was a Jurassic Park III set but from Lego Studios, which LEGO aficionados apparently separate from the rest. And anyway, the sets didn’t even include likenesses of the actors from the film. So, it’s up to you now. LEGO CUUSOO has up one of their petitions to get a set created for Jurassic Park Prime. I think their chances are pretty good. I mean, the film did just make $1 billion at the box office. Did I mention this set would come with Dr. Alan Grant, Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Ian Malcolm minifigs? Are you following The Mary Sue on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, & Google +? August 7-11: Bricks 4 GIRLZ camp at Cascade PPP First off, if you are a girl, you’re in the right place: Welcome to the girls-only week of Lego Engineering! Both the morning and afternoon sessions will combine LEGO Bricks, games, and activities to ensure us girls will have plenty of LEGO fun! We’ll use electric motors to build a variety of specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz models: For example, a seal that can hop across the floor, a dancer who can twirl, and a gymnast who can swing over the bars, to name a few.

Between building models and our own LEGO creations during free-play periods, we’ll craft and create with Lego bricks. We’ll make lots of fun things with Legos. Crafts can include: jewelry, keychains, and photo frames that are take-home projects. To create art, we’ll first engineer Spin Art Machines and Paper Crinklers, then we’ll make artwork, masks, and more.Classes are available to students ages 5 and up. Students must have completed kindergarten before their first week of camp.  Looking for STREAM classes for students ages 8 and up?
