But I think my favorite thing about it is this new Bane “mini” figure that’s actually hulking, and it’s spine-tinglingly brilliant. Lego has unveiled a new batch of toy sets based on next month’s Batman movie, and they’re just as fun the first wave of sets that came out at the start of the year.

Up top is the “Bane Toxic Truck Attack” one, which is $50. It comes with a big ol’ truck for Bane and, amazingly, the mutant leader from The Dark Knight Returns, some toxic waste to play with, and, also amazingly, Batman and a “Whirly-Bat” vehicle that’s sort of a cross between a tiny helicopter and a Batman-themed Segway. But seriously though, look at that Bane figure. Lego’s done other plus-sized figures like this, such as the Hulk—or even larger things like Star Wars’ rancor—but this is absolutely the best way to capture a Venomed-up, bulky Bane that’s ready to do unpleasant chiropractic acts to anyone near him. The other sets include the $15 “Scarecrow Fearful Faceoff,” which gives Scarecrow a suitably spooky helicopter to drop fear bombs on top of Batman: Then there’s the $60 “Two Face Double Demolition” set, about which I need to tell you absolutely nothing, other than the fact it contains an official Billy Dee Williams Two-Face minifigure, which a) is only the second best Billy Dee Williams Lego minifigure released so far this year because this exists, and b), makes this set totally worth buying at any cost

And finally, the Batwing, which comes in at $90 and gets you Batman, Robin, Harley (complete with Harley Quinn-themed anti-aircraft emplacement), and of course, the Batwing itself: Basically, please begin forming an orderly queue between now and the end of time itself as Lego decides to suck all of your pocket change out of your wallets. These new Lego Batman sets are due to hit shelves later this year. — Batman when entering the game “The Dark Knight rises!” — Batman's second line when entering the game “It's time to dispense some justice.” — Batman's third line when entering the game Batman is one of the Starter Pack characters in LEGO Dimensions, from the DC Comics franchise. When a young Bruce Wayne witnessed his socialite parents shot dead by the mugger, Joe Chill, he vowed to bring justice to the criminals infesting Gotham City. He then trained himself in detective skills, sciences, engineering, escape artistry, martial arts, and criminal psychology.

But Bruce realized that those skills would not be enough to stop the superstitious and cowardly lot plaguing the streets. While he was in his study reflecting on his parents' deaths, a bat flew into the window, both startling and inspiring him at the same time. He would become the bat to strike fear in those who preyed upon the innocent. And so, Bruce then took his mantle as a crime fighter and became known as Batman. Over the years, Batman has made many enemies such as The Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, Bane, among many others. Batman also has many allies as well, such as his Butler and former Guardian, Alfred pennyworth, Police Commissioner Jim Gordon, Robin (Tim Drake), Nightwing (Dick Grayson, the original Robin), Red Hood (Jason Todd, the second Robin), Batgirl (Jim Gordon's daughter, Barbara Gordon), and the Justice League, which Batman is a founding member of. He and his sidekick Robin were chasing Bane in the streets of Gotham City, but he witnessed Robin being sucked into a vortex with a Kryptonite.

He came to the Mines of Moria in Middle-earth to Gandalf's aid as he was about to slay the Balrog, rescuing him from being killed in the pit below. After Frodo being sucked into the vortex with the One Ring, the two soon found themselves in Cloud Cuckoo Land, where they met Wyldstyle, just after Metalbeard went missing: a petty fight between him and LEGO Movie Batman occurred. Soon, the trio sucked into another vortex, sending them into Vorton, and after rebuilding the LEGO Gateway, they arrived at the Yellow Brick Road in Oz, starting their journey to save the LEGO Multiverse.
