While we still have more than two years to wait until The Lego Movie Sequel hits theaters in February 2019, Warner Bros. is releasing the first spin-off, The LEGO Batman Movie on February 10. Will Arnett returns to reprise his voice role as The Dark Knight from the 2014 blockbuster, and he'll be joined by a number of mini-figure versions of classic DC Comics heroes and villains, as shown in some new promo videos. Last month, we showed you an epic poster that showcased a lot of these characters. Today, we get a closer look at many of them in new character posters as well.Warner Bros. released 11 new "graffiti art" character posters, featuring Batman (Will Arnett), Robin (Michael Cera), Batgirl (Rosario Dawson), Alfred Pennyworth (Ralph Fiennes), The Joker (Zach Galifianankis) and Harley Quinn (Jenny Slate) along with a number of characters whose voice cast members have yet to be announced, such as Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, Poison Ivy and The Riddler. The studio hasn't said when they plan on announcing the full slate of characters and the voice cast, but it was also recently confirmed that Billy Dee Williams will be voicing Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the movie.

It's also worth noting that Mariah Carey's character Mayor McCaskill, the Mayor of Gotham City, is not featured in these posters. In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble, LEGO Batman, stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.The first of these two new promo videos comes from South Korea, where Lego Batman shows fans some of the sights he's been seeing in the capital city of Seoul. One of these photos includes a glimpse at Superman and Wonder Woman taking a photo with the Dark Knight during their travels. While we have seen both Superman and Wonder Woman in the poster released last month, the studio still hasn't revealed voice cast members for a number of other characters seen on that one-sheet.

DC characters such as Green Lantern, Hawkman, The Flash, Aquaman, Mera, Commissioner Gordon, Bane, Martian Manhunter, Scarecrow, Clayface, The Riddler, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Green Lantern, Hugo Strange and the Mutant Leader from the animated film Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.Way back in November 2014, producer Phil Lord and Chris Miller said that this movie will span every era of Batman filmmaking, while teasing an "Avengers-style universe" with these movies. With that being said, it's possible then that The Lego Movie stars Jonah Hill (Green Lantern), Cobie Smulders (Wonder Woman) and Channing Tatum (Superman) may be reprising their superhero roles, but that hasn't been confirmed. While we wait for more on The LEGO Batman Movie, take a look at these poster and promo videos below.See the full photo galleryI'm not sure exactly what I was expecting from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's THE LEGO MOVIE, but once my eyes rolled back around to the front of my head I was very surprised by how much fun I had with the film.

Audiences loved it as well and a whole new LEGO cinematic universe was announced full of sequels and spinoffs, the first of which will be THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE which will continue the dark and brooding adventures of Batman (Will Arnett). The previous posters for the Chris McKay directed flick put the spotlight solely on the Dark Knight, but the latest poster for THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE is absolutely jam-packed with heroes and villains! How many can you spot? The upcoming LEGO MOVIE spinoff stars Will Arnett as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Cera as Dick Grayson/Robin, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Mariah Carey as Mayor McCaskill and Jenny Slate as Dr. Harleen Quinzel/Harley Quinn. As seen in the poster, the film includes quite the collection of characters but we still don't know who will be lending their voice to most of them, although I would hope that Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Cobie Smulders would be returning to reprise their roles of Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.

Newest Posts on GeekTyrantOn the last day of San Diego Comic Con 2014, the LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham panel was hosted by IGN’s Greg Miller and there were some surprises. TT Games’ Phil Ring and Arthur Parsons was on hand as well as some of the voice actors of the video game including Troy Baker, Travis Willingham, Laura Bailey, Scott Porter, Dee Bradley Baker, and Josh Keaton. One surprise that wasn’t really a surprise was that Adam West was also on the panel. During the panel, they did a recap of the new playable characters such as Bat-Cow, Booster Gold & Skeets, Hawkman, Adam West, Arkillo, Krypto, Miss Martian, Batman of Zur-En-Arrh, Blue Beetle, and Mr. Mxyzptlk.

These characters were announced at the LEGO booth during SDCC by Arthur Parsons. Something new that was shown was Superboy’s outfit which is the New 52 version. The other thing that was new was the 1960’s versions of the Batman charcters like Robin, Catwoman, Batgirl, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Alfred, and the Batmobile. Some surprises were the LEGO Batman 3 t-shirts and posters that were given away to everyone in attendance. You were given a ticket to bring to the Fulfillment Room at the Hyatt to pick up your items. The only problem was that it was kinda hot walking outside from the convention center to the hotel. The other surprise was for 3 people who asked questions at the panel. Greg Miller had 3 of the LEGO SDCC 2014 Batmobile exclusive sets for people who had the best questions. Not only did those people get the sets, it was also signed by Adam West. Overall in my opinion, the panel was pretty cool, but it wasn’t as cool as last year’s panel for the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game because there weren’t as many surprises.
