With base game update 1.22.9 or later, you no longer need to update your expansions and stuff packs. All updates will be applied only to the base game.If you have any trouble updating your game, please review the help documentation.If you redeem your Product Code in Origin, your game is fully registered and there is no need to register your code on The Sims 3 website. NOTE: Your saved game files should not be affected by uninstalling expansions, but we recommend that you back up your files to your desktop as a precaution. Sometimes you may have to remove one or more expansion or stuff packs to troubleshoot issues.Removing expansions or stuff packs will remove that content from your game.When possible, that content will be replaced with equivalent content from other installed packs.
