It is part 5 of our story walkthrough for LEGO Batman 2 featuring Superman's first appearence as Batman and Robin clean up Joker's mess. LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes - Chemical Crisis - Walkthrough (Part 5a) EditCitizen in Peril A Gotham citizen is trapped in a fiery room near the start of the area where Superman shows up. Use the Bat Suit to destroy the glass to the right of the room then chuck a Batarang to turn all three valves at once. EditMinikits (Free Play) In the first area, fly up, up and away to destroy the gold plate on a ceiling pipe. Fly up the little alcove to the right of the second chemical dispenser. Use Lex’s Deconstructor on the area around the Orange Handle to the left of the Magnet Suit Pad. Build with the resulting bricks then pull the Orange Handle. Use the Power Suit to destroy the laser barrier to the left of the fourth chemical dispenser.
EditCheckpoint – After the Explosion (Free Play) Destroy 3 presents. Use Lex’s Deconstructor on the wall in the alcove right next to the Acrobat Suit Pad. Use the Electricity Suit on the third hatch near the Power Suit Pad. 3. Power the console by the large computer screen you use to shut off the cold valves then use the Ball Socket to click the new icon. Destroy the gold object just to the right of the flaming Joker face. Use Green Lantern’s power on the green goo vat. EditCheckpoint – Superman Joins the Party (Free Play) Use magnet power to open the large shutter in the floor. Now stomp on the colored valves to guide the ball to its goal. Stomp the yellow valve to get it out of the maze then punch it. Put out 5 LEGO fires On the left, right where you start the area with Superman. On the catwalk near the Hazard and Power Suit Pads Near the 3 pools and the fiery room where the Citizen in Peril is trapped. On the catwalk to the right of the first water tower you have to cut a gold LEGO shape out of.
Just to the right of the elevator that exits this area. Have Poison Ivy Use the Flower Bed just past the large electrical barrier. EditCheckpoint – Up on the Roof Destroy 5 gold boxes on the roof. On the roof to the left of the Ace sign Also on the roof to the left of the Ace sign High above the roof to the left of the Ace sign. Although before we start the level we encounter Captain Boomerang in the Gotham City’s open world hub. Let’s take a look… Walkthrough video guide highlights timeline: 7:05 – Build the lever to get Robin’s Hazard Suit. 8:08 – Use Robin to jump in the water, then pull the lever, and collect 1/5 of the Chemicals Samples. 9:44 – Destroy the 4 valves next to the lever, turn the red valve to reveal Batman’s electric suit.
Use Robin’s water spray to clean off Batman’s suit, Get Batman to climb the electrified ladder while wearing his electric suit, have him use the electric socket and go left to collect 2/5 Chemical Samples. 11:45 – Use Robin’s water spray to reveal Robin’s Acrobat suit. 13:05 – Use Robin’s magnetic pull to the left and have Batman use the electric socket to collect the chemical samples 3/5. 15:05 – Use Robin’s magnetic pull to pull the blue barrows and collect 4/5 chemical samples. 16:55 – Use Batman to turn off the electric currency. Have Robin sit in each different color chemical and spray it in the holes in the respective colors. 19:33 – Have Batman climb the right electric pipes. 20:00 – Have Robin pull the hand on left side second story, then have him go in the water to pull the handle to drain the water, and collect the last sample. 00:30 – Have Robin use his water spray to clear the left water tank, then clear the whole area (use the pool of water to refill). Clear the fire to get Robin’s Acrobat suit. 2:30 – Have Robin go across the other side with his Acrobat stick, and have him go in Bubble form in the controller to move the bridge so Batman can get over. Have Batman use his electric special ability in the middle electric socket to get his Power Suit. 8:00 – Go to the computer station and build a controller for Robin’s bubble. Have Robin guide the arrows to the pictures and click on them to shutoff the frost valves. 9:45 – Have Robin climb up and go in bubble form to move the bridge to get Batman to the other side and have Batman switch to his electric suit. Swing Robin to the other side. 14:20 – Minikit, use Superman freeze breathe to put out the fire pit 1/5. 16:00 – Have Superman fly up and pull the orange lever, then use his freeze breathe to make an ice wall for Batman and Robin to climb up on.
17:30 – Use Superman’s X-ray vision to open all 3 valves. Have Robin shoot the color chemicals in the correct valve, so that our “dynamic trio” can proceed to the next part of the level. Walkthrough video guide highlights timeline (for Part 3): 00:39 – Have Superman fly up and carve out the gold wall with his Heat Vision where it’s indicated he should aim, water will put out the fire so Batman and Robin can climb up. 1:16 – Have Superman carve out another gold wall, then have him use his freeze breathe on the water. 2:30 – Minikit (1/5). Have Superman use his Eye Laser Beam (more commonly known by the less cool sounding Heat Vision) on the gold object to get the minikit. 3:50 – In this next area near the end of the level, have Superman use his eye laser beam to shoot the two gold boxes, to free the ladder. 5:00 – Have Batman cross the electric bridge, then have him climb the ladder to discharge the electric socket.
Finally, have Batman run back and switch back to his power suit and cross the bridge again to shoot the two silver pillars. 1) Collect 313,000 studs to get Super Hero status. 2) Collect (2/10) Minikits. Important bug warning: We’ve found out the problem with Level 6: Chemical Signature being so hard to find and start. There is a bug in the game, where they place the next level marker on the map in the middle of the ocean, when in fact it’s a movie truck/train moving in circles throughout the city in the centre of Gotham City. At the end of Level 5: Chemical Crisis you get to see what “The Juggernaut” blue truck/train looks like.
