Marvel's latest hit Doctor Strange, is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray very soon.
It was announced that the UK would be getting the Sorcerer Supreme on Blu-Ray in the middle of the month, and now Best Buy has revealed that the United States stores will receive the film on February 28, 2017. Not only is Doctor Strange hitting homes in less than two month's time, but Best Buy has unveiled a collector's edition steelbook case. The steel cover features a trippy image of the Eye of Agamotto, rather than the bright colors of the other Doctor Strange posters and marketing materials. The steelbook edition will be available in both regular and 3D versions, and is only sold at Best Buy. While both steelbooks are available for pre-order, they are a little more expensive than the average movie. The 3D edition is $34.99, while the standard release is $29.99. From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj.
He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey.
