See and discover other items: flying superhero, the thing marvelAnt-Man is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure that was physically released in 2015. Scott Lang, a man forced into thievery to save his ill daughter, stole the Ant-Man costume and some Pym-Particles from Hank Pym to commit robberies. Eventually Hank allowed him to keep the Ant-Man identity if he reformed, so he did and became a reserve member of the Fantastic Four, and later joined the Avengers Scott Lang, a man forced into thievery to give back the money VistaCorp stole from it's customers, is branded a criminal and is divorced and distanced from his wife, Maggie, and his daughter, Cassie. After breaking into a house and finding a strange suit with shrinking capabilities, he is approached by Hank Pym, the former superhero Ant-Man, who offered him a chance at redemption. He does so, and Pym gives him the Ant-Man suit, making him his successor as Ant-Man. In one of his attempts to steal Darren Cross's Yellow Jacket suit, he is followed home and they dueled using children's toys, enlarged when they both used Pym Particles.

He defeated Cross by going sub-atomic into YJ's suit, the same way Pym lost his wife. However, Scott made it out alive as Cross blinked out of existence. During the events of Civil War, Falcon mentioned to Captain America that he knew a guy, after the two's encounter. He was later awoken in front of the Anti-Registrators, where he was "thinked they thanked" of him. While fighting Iron Man's team, he used his Pym Particles to grow into Giant-Man. However, when the novice hero Spider-Man used an idea based on Star Wars Episode V's AT-AT takedown, Scott was shrunken to his usual size. He then, as Tony Stark's consciousness, was able to disable the genius' weaponry. However, after being defeated, he was later incarcerated on the Raft like most of his fellow teammates. Ant-ManCivil War (Small)Civil War (Giant-Man)Just like the movie, Michael Peña’s Luis completely steals the show in the currently PlayStation exclusive LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Ant-Man downloadable content.Normally I drop the gameplay audio level to barely audible when doing a Kotaku Plays video with commentary, but that went out the window the moment I realized Michael Peña was going to be narrating the whole thing.

He brightens what would otherwise have been a pretty standard adventure with an anti-climactic finish. The final showdown between Yellowjacket and Ant-Man is a series of button presses, but who cares? We’ve got this guy on our team now. Luis with Ant-thony, both a playable character and a ridable character. Outside of the Ant-Man adventure Luis is a security guard with a gun, S.H.I.E.L.D. clearance and some excellent lines. With his best friend Ant-thony by his side there is nothing he can’t accomplish. Other notable minifigures included in the DLC are Cassie Lang in her pre-hero form, wielding that horrible rabbit Scott gives her in the movie . . . I love the tiara. . . . and Janet Van Dyne as the Wasp, who shrinks when she flies, as she should. As long as she doesn’t get too small. The Luis DLC for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers is now available for free to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 players. No word on when it will come to other platforms, but it probably will.

TT Games is back this month with the release of their latest LEGO title – LEGO Marvel’s Avengers. This will mark the second appearance of Marvel characters in a LEGO game, as the characters were not included in the recently released toys-to-life game LEGO Dimensions. It was disappointing, though not entirely surprising considering TT is owned by Warner Bros. The upcoming LEGO Marvel title, one of our most anticipated of 2016, will not be a sequel to the previously released LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, but will instead adhere to the overarching plotlines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The game will include over 200 playable Marvel characters, including newcomers like Kamala Khan, the new Ms. Marvel. While the game promises to be one of the biggest LEGO titles yet, Warner Bros. Interactive is already looking to the future. Today, the publisher announced two new DLC (downloadable content) packs coming to the game, one based on the upcoming Captain America: Civil War and the other based on the latest Marvel film Ant-Man.

Both packs will be available for free, for a limited time, exclusively on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Available on launch day, the Civil War DLC pack doesn’t contain any new levels, in the interest avoiding spoilers for the film. Instead, the pack only features nine playable characters: Iron Man (MK 46) The Ant-Man DLC pack isn’t scheduled to be released until later in the spring, but the pack will be more substantial than its predecessor. In addition to more playable characters, the pack will feature a new level from the film – most likely with an emphasis on the characters’ shrinking mechanic. The characters included are: The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) Most importantly, players will have the opportunity to fly Ant-Thony around the Ant-Man level as well as bring him into the main game. Perhaps the strangest character to be included in the DLC pack is Cassie Lang, Scott’s young daughter. She does eventually grow up to be a superhero in her own right, code-named Stature, but that character will be included in the main game.
