Above: Watch the world's largest LEGO ship being built The things people can do with a pile of LEGO bricks is truly incredible. There’s the Bullring model made from 60,000 bricks that was recently discovered by cleaners at the Bullring, and a huge Beauty and the Beast castle that’s being made complete with figures and lights. Now, LEGO experts have created the world's largest LEGO ship - so big it will have to be transported on the back of a lorry! All these amazing creations are appearing at BRICKLIVE at the NEC in half term from October 27 to 30. Here's what you can see at the show... An enormous LEGO ship the size of a juggernaut. Made from more than a million LEGO bricks, the ship weighs in at 2,860kg and is a whopping 12.35 metres long. Named Jubilee Seaways, it's been created by DFDS to celebrate its 150th anniversary and has broken a Guinness World Record. The monster ship took 900 hours to build and work has been done by LEGO builders in 20 different countries across the world.

An incredible LEGO model of Birmingham’s famous Bullring has been discovered – by the shopping centre’s cleaners! The miniature model - which features 60,000 bricks - was created in 2003 by professional LEGO builder Duncan Titmarsh to mark the opening of the LEGO store at the landmark shopping centre. But when the LEGO store closed down, the model was put into storage and forgotten about. That was until cleaners and LEGO fans Nick Morrey and Antoni James discovered it and restored it to its former glory for the show. It seems AFOLs (that’s Adult Fans of LEGO) really can find their dreams come true at the show. This was the case for Carl Greatrix from Stafford who created a LEGO Caterham Seven 620R sports car for the first ever show in London in 2014 – then was stunned to find LEGO wanted to turn it into a LEGO Ideas Set. His 770 piece set will get its first public ‘drive out’ at the show, where it will be set up next to a real life Caterham. “I’d built this model purely as a fan of LEGO,” says Carl.

“But when other fans saw it at the show, they wanted to know if they could buy one. “I looked at the design and how it would need to be adapted to be a set, hoping one wouldn’t compromise the other – which it didn’t. Two days later, I entered it onto the LEGO Ideas site and now two years later, I have the set in my hand, ready to take home and build.” A huge LEGO replica of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Castle is being built for the show. The fairy tale creation will stand around TWO METRES tall at its highest tower and will cover one and a half square metres at its base once completed. It will feature 250,000 bricks, plates, tiles and arches, will weigh around 100 kilograms – and even have a 150 LED lights to make the whole thing glow! The feat has taken by professional LEGO artist and graphic designer Kevin Hall of Brick Galleria nearly three months to build. LEGO fans made a life-size LEGO Doctor Who Tardis at the 2015 show, using more than 100,000 bricks! It stood more than two metres high once complete.

There were also supercars, boats and film characters at the show too, many of which had taken weeks to build. Tickets cost £20 each, and premium tickets are £35 each. Click here to book tickets to the show. There are also lots of opportunities for LEGO fans of all ages to get building in the BRICK Pits filled with over 3 million LEGO bricks and to contribute to LEGO mosaics and giant builds. The BRICKLIVE stage will showcase new releases and developments in LEGO gaming, give a sneak preview of forthcoming LEGO sets, welcome special guests, and even test the building skills of fans of all ages in the popular BRICK OFF! The life-size Star Wars X-Wing fighter replica is being dubbed the world's largest Lego model and apparently took 32 "master builders" to put together. The model -- which reportedly weights 46,000 pounds -- took 17,000 combined hours to build, according to Businessweek. It was on display in New York for three days through May 25 and will now be moved to LEGOLAND in California. Here we check out some of the best Lego Star Wars sets currently available that are bound to awaken the Lego lover inside you. LEGO Star Wars First Order Battle Pack, £11.99

This First Order Battle Pack building set is a great way to introduce younger children to the world of Lego Star Wars. Despite the the 6-12 age range, it's just as detailed as some of the more advanced sets, featuring a First Order 'turbolaser' turret with a 'stud shooter' and opening hatches to reveal both a weapons storage area and a control centre. The set also include four mini-figurines: two First Order stormtroopers, one First Order technician, and one First Order crew member, each with their own 'stud blaster'. LEGO Star Wars Resistance X-Wing Fighter Building Set, £8.99 Though it's not one for the more serious collectors around (it's not a challenging build), this X-Wing Fighter set will keep children aged six upwards entertained for hours. LEGO Star Wars 75105 Millennium Falcon, from £94.96 Ideal for any budding Lego set collectors, this detailed model of the iconic Millennium Falcon comes with seven mini-figurines (Rey, Finn, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Tasu Leech, a Kanjiklub Gang Member, and a BB-8 Droid) to help you recreate The Force Awakens.

The set comes with a detachable cockpit with space for two mini-figurines, rotating top and bottom laser turrets with a hatch and space for one mini-figurine, dual spring-loaded shooters, a sensor dish, ramp and more. The interior is even more impressive, containing a detailed 'hyperdrive', a 'holochess board' - like the one seen in the films - a secret compartment and storage space for spring-loaded shooter ammo. LEGO Star Wars Death Star, £579 This incredibly detailed replica of The Empire's Death Star is the ultimate Star Wars set. It features an impressive variety of scenes and locations from Episodes IV and VI on its multiple decks including the Death Star control room, the Emperor's throne room, the detention block, the Imperial conference chamber and much more. The set includes a 24 mini-figurines - including six found only in this set, such as Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in their stormtrooper outfits, an assassin droid and two Death Star troopers.

The battle station is 41 cm tall and 42 cm wide. LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon, £4,500 Priced at £4,500, this Ultimate Collector's Millenium Falcon - the iconic ship piloted by Han Solo in the original three movies and Rey in The Force Awakens - is the most valuable Lego set in the world, even beating the largest Lego set of all time (the Taj Mahal, with 5,922 pieces) which is worth £2100. The 5,195-piece set is the second largest Lego set ever created and was originally released in 2007 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars at a retail price of around £374. Today's more lucrative price tag can be attributed to the fact that, unlike other models of the Falcon, this is a true collectors item. It weighs in at over 22 pounds and is the size of a small table. The first edition of the set also came with a certificate of authenticity for the first 10,000 or so, making it a coveted item for collectors everywhere. The set comes with five mini-figurines: Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a retractable boarding ramp.
