A Dutch artist is thought to be behind the mysterious appearance of a giant Lego man on Brighton beach. The 6ft-tall (1.8m) red, green and yellow figure has the slogan "No Real Than You Are" painted on the front. Brighton resident Peter McNiven said he had spotted the figure in the sea while walking to work this week. A spokeswoman for Lego said the artist responsible, Ego Leonard, would be exhibiting artwork in London in the coming weeks. A Lego man with the same slogan appeared on a Dutch beach last year. Mr McNiven, 32, who works for a digital marketing company, said: "I just happened to stumble across him on Wednesday morning. "I took a couple of pictures because it's not something you see every day. "There's a lot of talk about him coming over from Holland to here, but there's no tide marks on him." In August 2007 a giant Lego toy, bearing a close resemblance to the Brighton figure, mysteriously appeared on Zandvoort beach in the Netherlands.
The blue and yellow figure was pulled out of the sea and bore the same slogan "No Real Than You Are". A Lego spokeswoman said: "This giant Lego figure [in Brighton] came as quite a surprise to us when we heard about it yesterday. "We understand the person behind this is a Dutch artist called Ego Leonard who will be exhibiting in London in the coming weeks." Now it clearly describes the difference between the markup for ordinary pages and AMP. Earlier the documentation indicated the conditions necessary for the article appearance in the AMP-carousel. Now it specifies that the page can be displayed differently depending on its type: «AMP structured data" or «non-AMP structured data".
The updated guidelines clearly state that in order to get into the AMP-carousel the accelerated page should have the appropriate markup. Otherwise, it will be displayed in Google search results. With regard to the layout specification, Google also shared recommendations for AMP and non-AMP pages. For instance, if AMP features such as headline and image are required then the HTML-pages are highly recommended. Google also added a new properties category called «Ignored». It means that the property cannot be included in the markup. Google announced that "Content Keywords" in the Search Console has been disabled. At the time it was launched this report was the only way to see what Googlebot detected when scanning your website. Now webmasters have an access to the Search Analytics report, the tool "View as Googlebot» and other functions. Google also noted that the "Content Keywords" report misled people. It gave the impression that the more similar the keywords added to the page, the more likely that it will be relevant in search results.
In fact, it was not so. This was exactly the reason of disabling this feature. Since fall 2015 Google got interested in the way the webmasters use "Content Keywords" report. The idea of disabling the report became known in May this year. Google has redesigned Gmail app for iOS and added some new features to it. The company also updated the calendar for iOS.
