Importfest's 11th anniversary mega show in Toronto brought the heat! It was easily one of the largest enthusiast events I've ever visited (make sure to read my full write-up!) A lot of dope rides packed the Metro Toronto Centre, from high performance to stance; however, a car that had the best of both worlds was Jason Gale's '09 Nissan 370Z.Importfest Jason Gale 2016 Nissan 370Z Varis Arising Ii Widebody Kit This Z34 looked oddly familiar when I strolled by it the first time. When the doors to Importfest finally opened and I got a chance to meet Jason, it dawned on me... This was the same 370Z that I saw at AutoCon in Pomona, California, last year. It was also the same Z that my fellow staffer, Jofel Tolosa, had photographed, which was then featured in our mag over a year ago.
Why didn't I recognize it? Maybe because it looks much more aggressive now thanks to a fresh AirREX air suspension install. Jason also ditched the Advan GT wheels for Volk Racing TE37 Ultras, a very nice touch! Other highlights of this 370Z build remain the same, but for good reason. The Varis Arising II widebody kit is still rare to see in North America, as is the Top Secret strut bar and engine cover. In the go-fast department, this 3.7-liter VQ is pushing 522whp and 476 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels courtesy of a Boosted Performance turbocharger kit, which uses a Precision 6266 twin-scroll turbo. Other upgrades, such as the custom four-stage paint, Takata seat/harness combo and WP Pro big brakes are still being put to good use since his feature last year (you can check it out here). While it's only been a year since Jason's car debuted at AutoCon in LA, he's continued to bring his project car to new heights in his hometown of Toronto. If he keeps this pace up, we're certain you'll be hearing another update from us sooner rather than later!

“Quickly investigated my questions” Amanda did a great job in our live chat. I had questions regarding one of their featured products for a Toyota pickup and she took the time to find out what I needed to know! “Outstanding Customer Service and Knowledge of products.” . Unfortunately the website was giving me a little trouble with promotional prices and adding a gift card to the sale. I called and got Giovanni as my CSR. He was able to find the part I needed and add the gift card to the sale all within a minute. it's great ethical business and certainly knew how to satisfied my desirable dream. those employees did a hell job to work hard with my negotiation of best deal. i clapped their earn of hardest work. i really appreciate their best work. If I could give 0 stars I would, I called asking for some rims options for my project truck (a 96' Chevy K3500) and the customer sales rep guided to some fuel rims that "would fit my truck" so I ordered them based on his guarantee they would fit my truck. It has taken me a while to get my project truck back together and I tried to install them today and they don't fit, not even close. They have a +1 offset and I need at least and -20 offset. I just got off the phone with Justin and he said because of the lapsed time, no matter if his guy sold me the wrong product that he wasn't going to fix their mistake and there was nothing he was going to do about it. I will never buy any more parts for my trucks from here ever again!!!!! Do yourself a favor and order from someone who cares!
The product I purchased was missing several components and CARid will not help!” First I'd like to say that if I could choose zero stars I would. The service and follow up that I have received since contacting CARid has been terrible. The problem stems from a $900 product that was sent without all of the components. It has been two weeks since I have contacted CARid about the problem and the only follow up that I have had has been is when initiated it. The customer service is the worst I have ever received after a sale. CARid has put the problem back on the manufacturer and will not refund or replace the other product. “Quick no hassle returns for full refund” Juan J was extremely courteous and professional in process my item for return. Despite the fact I was shipped the part for a vehicle different than that I ordered, he promptly explained the procedure to follow and I received my return authorization and shipping labels the next day. I will return again in the future based on this positive experience.
