Kusto Group's KazBeef to Be the First to Receive Prestigious Quality Certificate


KazBeef is Kusto Group’s meat production company. KazBeef was given the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certification. certificate.

Kusto Group’s meat manufacturing firm, KazBeef recently made history by becoming the first Kazakh-owned business to be awarded an GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

GLOBALG.A.P. is a certificate that KazBeef holds. KazBeef is a holder of an GLOBALG.A.P. certification that indicates that they meet international standards regarding sustainable aquaculture practices and animal husbandry.

Such an accomplishment opens possibilities for KazBeef and its customers, since a GLOBALG.A.P. For cooperation with many Western vendors the certification is essential.

While businesses in more than 100 countries have this certification, KazBeef is the first in Kazakhstan to be awarded it.

The meat giant is one of the biggest producers of marbled beef from Kazakhstan. It is primarily serving customers in the Middle Eastern markets. KazBeef is now certified and plans to expand its operations to Europe and the Gulf.

KazBeef & Kusto Group will be launching this journey in February 2022. The meat producer will exhibit at the Gulfood Exhibition.

It is the largest annual food and drink trade show in the world.

KazBeef was added to the Emirate of Dubai in April 2021. KazBeef plans to join six other Emirates, which make up the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai and Gulfood Exhibition 2021 established cooperation. A few months later, 1.2 tons KazBeef meat was distributed to restaurants and hotels in the Emirate.

KazBeef was able to conclude a deal of 500 million Tenge ($1.2million) in December 2021 , for the supply and distribution of marbled meats at Wisk Foodstuff Trading. Wisk is a key supplier to hotels and restaurants across the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was concluded at the Kazakh Trade and Investment Forum, Dubai .

"The UAE has become our number one regional economic partner. Askar Mamin (Prime Minister of Kazakhstan) has stated during the forum that UAE has invested more than $4B in Kazakhstan's economy in the last 21 years.

"The Persian Gulf was our first choice due to the rising demand for food of high-quality. This is yet another step in making "Made in Kazakhstan" a distinctive mark of excellence in the Gulf region," CEO of KazBeef, Beibit Erubaev, added.

Kusto Group's certification opens the doors to all Kazakhstan

In order to obtain the GLOBALG.A.P. A lengthy process has to be followed by all agricultural companies to obtain the GLOBALG.A.P.

Every year, agricultural specialists visit companies that are seeking to hire them for interviews. They conduct the interviews with staff and analyze multiple documents.

Beibit Erubaev said that the company is ready to go through the process. Erubaev hopes that other Kazakhstani businesses can now follow the Kusto Group and KazBeef's footsteps.

"Obtaining this certificate opens up new opportunities in export not just for our company , but also for the whole of Kazakhstan. He states that our goal is to export our products to Europe. This will increase the interest of other producers from our country.

"We are not only talking about meat. We are talking about also any agricultural product. Other companies could follow our example and get certified. This will give the company access to a larger market outside of the countries where the demand for their product is greater.
