THOSE who fancy a good night’s sleep on a hotel bed, can now do the same at home. King Koil has launched the Luxury Hotel Collection, featuring six mattress types inspired by beds in renowned hotel chains. “Consumers have long been looking for beds of hotel quality but they have no access to it. “With our track record and expertise, we are able to bring the experience of a luxury hotel into the homes of our consumers,” said King Koil Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd Sales and Marketing senior general manager Cheng Kai Hin. Cheng said the brand was a leading supplier of mattresses for luxury hotels including St Regis, Hilton Worldwide, Westin, Sheraton, Marriott International and Holiday Inn. These hotel inspired mattresses offer six types — the Majestic Elegance 500, Crown Sovereign 500, Crown Sovereign 300, Crown Sovereign 250, Imperial Comfort 200 and Regal Comfort 100. “We harness our strengths for hotel projects and extended it to retail. “The specifications of each model are improved, with six models catering to six different types of general sleeping modes,” explained Cheng, adding that each mattress comes with a 15-year warranty.
All six of the models in the collection are innerspring mattresses, each with unique upholstery specifications of its own. The collection comes in single, super-single, queen and king size mattresses and are available at more than 1,000 King Koil dealers nationwide. In line with the launch, the brand is offering the collection’s queen-size mattresses at a promotion price from RM1,999 to RM3,899. During the promotion period, customers will receive “Hotel Charm” pillows and an imported “Protect-A-Bed” waterproof mattress protector with the 500, 300 and 250 models; or “super soft” pillows and waterproof mattress with the 200 and 100 models. To further enhance the hotel experience for the mattresses, King Koil is in the works of developing corresponding bedding accessories. “We are looking at duvet covers, bedspreads and bed sheets for the said items,” said Cheng. Currently, the Luxury Hotel Collection is available only in Malaysia. However, Cheng said the collection would soon be introduced in Singapore and Thailand.
