Work well with my Z-Wave home automation system, Smartthings.||These Schlage locks are great. I have two of these, one on the garage entrance door and one on a closet I used to store weapons in. I also have two of the Schlage Connect dead bolt locks for the front and rear entry doors. I use these with my Smartthings hub and they work very well. The have built-in alarms which is cool. I can keep track of when the doors are opened and can get text messages so I know when people are coming and going at my house.
I also set an alarm to notify me if these doors are opened after 10 pm at night. The front and rear entry locks I have set to lock if they have been unlocked for more than 90 seconds. This is just in case someone forgets to lock the door after they leave.I like these for interior doors as they don't make any noise really when they unlock the door. They also relock the door after a few seconds by default. These are the Schalge Connect Dead bolt versions. They do make noise when unlocking/locking so early in the am or late at night, I use a key so as not to wake up a sleeping child.
