Common Issues & Fixes

This guide covers common errors you may face and how to resolve them.

🔹 Case 1 — Card Declined

• In some countries, Stripe applies stricter rules.
• Try using a VPN.
• If the error continues, use the GoLogin app with internal GoLogin proxies:

🔹 Case 2 — Payment Method Not Eligible for Free Trial

If your payment method doesn’t qualify for a free trial, you can still proceed using generated cards:

1. Go to namso-gen.com
2. In the BIN field, enter:

559888039xxxxxxx

3. Click Generate

4. Use the generated cards for Stripe verification

5. Enter any random name and address (Optional: for realistic details, use Random Address Generator)

🔹 Case 3 — Too Many Free Trial Accounts on This Machine

Error Message:

Too many free trial accounts used on this machine. Please upgrade to pro. 
We have this limit in place to prevent abuse. Please let us know if you believe this is a mistake.

Fix:

1. Sign out from your Cursor account and fully close the app.
2. Reset your Machine ID using one of the following repos:

• go-cursor-help
• cursor-free-vip

3. After reset, open Cursor and register a new account following this guide:
