Creating an Apple ID Your child must have an Apple ID in order to setup and use their iPad. This needs to be created before your child picks up their iPad as it will need to be entered as part of the setup process. If your child already has an Apple ID this can be used on their school iPad. If not, or you wish to create a new one for use in school please follow the instructions below. Please note that while there are other ways to create an Apple ID we recommend following the steps here to avoid any potential issues during the iPad setup process.
