Insurance Agents

An Insurance agent sells insurance, seeks, or negotiates policies to be sold. In the United States, insurance is a commercial activity in which a person or company insures one or more people against loss, damage, liability, and/or reimbursement. This can include life insurance, health insurance, automobile insurance, or any other insurance products available. Although most insurance sales are done face to face, it is also possible to sell policies by telephone or through the mail. Insurance agents receive commissions from those who insure with them, and they represent only the policies of those companies.

Also, ask if the insurance agent specializes in your particular insurance product. It is also important to make sure that the insurance agents is licensed and insured to sell your particular insurance products. 

The next step is to ask your friends, relatives, and co-workers if they have had any experience with an insurance agent. You might also want to contact your local insurance department to see if they have any names of insurance agents in your area. There are usually several different types of insurance that are sold by an insurance agents. You can usually get information on different insurance policies from the insurance company's Web site or the insurance company's phone book. These sites will list all of the current insurance options available to you, including discounts and special deals offered. The Insurance agents will also be able to answer any questions you may have about the insurance products they are selling.
