These six incredible projects reached 10,000 supporters between January and June and qualified for review. Over the past several months, the LEGO Review board carefully considered each project from every angle, and the next LEGO Ideas set will be … This time not just one, but two LEGO Ideas projects will go into production and become official LEGO sets. LEGO Ideas #010 The Big Bang Theory This LEGO set will be a true match made in scientific heaven (well, actually in acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), because the brilliant characters in this popular American TV show appreciate LEGO bricks, and LEGO Ideas members Alatariel and collaborator GlenBricker (plus their 10.000 supporters) love both LEGO bricks AND The Big Bang Theory show! We're still evaluating the two Doctor Who projects This review period featured two Doctor Who concepts, and the LEGO Review Board is evaluating them. We’ll let you know when we decide whether or not one will be produced as a LEGO set.
All other projects from the First 2014 LEGO Review will not be produced The LEGO Review Board has evaluated each project according to our decision criteria. We’ve decided that all other concepts in the First 2014 review period will unfortunately not be produced as LEGO sets. This decision, however, does in no way take away from the incredible talent put into these projects or the passion supporters have shown. How do we make these decisions? Getting 10,000 votes on a project is a huge accomplishment in and of itself. But it is really just the beginning of the project’s journey, because the 10,000 supporter milestone means the project enters the LEGO Review Stage. During the LEGO Review, a team of specialists within The LEGO Group – including LEGO set designers, marketing and business representatives, and other relevant team members –evaluate each project to determine its potential as a LEGO set. This involves analyzing the votes and information you give us about your project as well as looking at things like playability, safety, and fit within the LEGO brand.
