- 4 years ago Welcome to the Walkthrough for the LEGO The Lord of the Rings chapter Helm's Deep. This page contains a full walkthrough in addition to locations for Minikits and Collectibles. "This is no rabble of mindless orcs; Begin by shooting the target on the left with Legolas's bow, knocking down some gears that you can build into the mechanism to the right of the Silver gate.   Next, use Gimli to smash the Cracked Lego Tile to find the crank handle. Attach it to the gears and crank the winch to move a pallet of boxes to the right, dropping them down in the process and allowing you to build a staircase from their broken pieces. Climb up the wall and smash the Cracked Lego Tile here to clear a path to the top of the wall.    Start off by shooting the Uruk-hai at the top of the ladder to the left, knocking him and his friends back down to the field below. When a ladder is flung up to the wall, clipping onto the edge with two grey hooks, simply smash them to send the ladder back down.

A third ladder will appear on the left side of the wall; in front of it is a Cracked Lego Tile that can be smashed with Gimli to take care of this ladder.   Next, an orc will smash through the rocks on the right side of the wall, allowing you to reach the Small Character Hatch there. Climb in with Gimli and push the brown box down from above, then rebuild its pieces into a Cracked Lego Tile that you can use to knock the ladder down. Topple three more ladders with the previous methods to move on.    The next set of five ladders will all slam into the wall at the same time. Take out four of them with the previous methods and use a tall character to pick up Gimli and fling him at the elevated Cracked Lego Tile on the fifth ladder. Despite your valiant effort to defend the wall, a Berserker will break through by blowing himself up along with a large portion of the wall. Back on the ground, have one of your characters throw Gimli at the Cracked Lego Tile on the wall to the left, then rebuild its pieces into a stepping stone to the next ledge.

Smash the spears attached to the wall here and rebuild their pieces into an arrow peg.    Jump up and swing on the arrow to reach the ledge on the left, then push the block there down below so your other characters can follow. At the top of the wall, use Gimli to smash the Cracked Lego Tile at the bottom of a pile of boulders. At the beginning of this section, toss Gimli at the highlighted Uruk's shield, then jump across and help him clean up the enemies there. Next, rebuild the pieces of their battering ram into the door.   After taking control of Legolas, shoot down three ladders that slam into the wall. After the third one, the orcs will shoot two hooks up to the wall, pulling a ladder up behind them. Destroy the hooks and build their pieces into the tiled path there, then push the box down through the hatch.   Switch back to Aragorn and Gimli, then climb the rope on the left side of the gate to trigger a cut-scene and the last part of the stage. Finally, as Theoden, ride a horse from the keep, slashing the Uruk-hai as you go.

At the beginning of the level, head to the right and destroy some grey blocks by the wall, then bash the Cracked Lego Tile to find Minikit #1.   In the middle of the area, blow open the Silver gate and enter the Uruk-hai carnival. There is a Minikit in a cage at the center of the area which you will need to open by completing several games. Start by growing the tree on the right with Sam, then throw the coconuts it drops into the bottles in the carnival game directly behind it.   Next, shoot the target next to the orc on the dunk tank. Once he's drenched, head to the left and shoot all of the targets in the game there.   Finally, switch to an axe-wielding character and hit the Cracked Lego Tile at the bottom of the small Barad-dur, lighting up the Eye of Sauron. Doing all of these things will unlock Minikit #2. Head back over to the right side of the area and pull the rope hook there to find the Feathered Cap Treasure.   Back on the left side, bash the cart with the green fog emanating from it, then grab the item with Aragorn and follow it to a bunch of Lego blocks that you can build into a cart with Minikit #3 above it.

On the far left side of the area, next to the small Barad-dur tower, smack the black pot around until it drops the Ladle Treasure.   Finally, bash the Morgul object on the right side of the area and build the pieces that drop out into a large crossbow. Use it to shoot the elves at the top of the wall to earn Minikit #4.   Back out in the main courtyard, behind the wall, pull the Strong Character Handle on the cart to unbind Minikit #5.   Atop the wall, on the far left side, is a Silver box. Blow it open with explosives to find the Mithril Fire Bow Blacksmith Design.   Just to the left of the Blacksmith Design is a Lego soil patch. Use Sam to grow a large purple flower, then smack it with your weapon until it spits out Minikit #6.    After the Uruk-hai blast through the wall, head back down to the ground and dig up the Bandages Treasure.   Once you go down the stairs to the outside of the wall (while the orcs are trying to bash through the main gate), head right and climb up the wall with Gollum to find Minikit #7.

Next, walk further down the stairs to find Minikit #8 just waiting to be picked up.   While riding the horse during the final part of the level, jump up just as you exit Helm's Deep to snag Minikit #9. Also while riding the horse through the orc hordes, smash five flags with the symbol of the white hand on them. Doing so will earn you Minikit #10.
