I also washed the cover, so no weird smells we detected. It's very comfortable, but in the two nights I've had it on the bed I've awoken because I was super hot. I got his for my son's bedroom, he loves it but for me it's too soft. Not good if you are having back issues. works great and I love this purchase It's in the guess room, everyone raves how comfortable it is. very happy with this purchase ~ husband is happy too! So Far So Good Unpackaged it and followed directions. In 24 hours, it had taken shape. No one has slept on it, yet, because we put it on a guest bed.
