Our specialty is custom glass, and we guarantee it will arrive clean, cut to your design spec, and ready for fast installation. Here's how it works: We get our glass direct from our manufacturer, located in Ohio, USA where it's cut and finished on a per-order basis by a skilled craftsman, with your design requirements in mind! Unlike the competition, we don't outsource to china, or skimp on things like a proper tempering process; instead we've used our 30+ years of expertise in the glass and hearth industries to build a high-quality service that just works fast. High Temperature Ceramic Glass - (Pyroceram) For Use in Gas, Oil, Wood, Pellet, Coal, or Bio Stoves Only High temperature ceramic glass is suitable for use in wood, pellet, and coal burning stoves. It's rarely used for fireplace doors, but often used in industrial high temperature applications. Its 1380° F thermal shock rating makes it ideal for any application where high temperature tolerance is required. There is no visual or performance difference between Pyroceram™, Neoceram™, or Robax™ -- those names are just trademarks.

We use only genuine Pyroceram ceramic glass. Available in 3/16" thickness only. NOTE: Our glass is not intended for use on cook-tops or range-tops. Tempered Fireplace Glass - High Strength for Fireplace Doors Only This is the most common glass used in fireplace doors due to its high mechanical strength - tempered glass is 4 to 7 times stronger than regular glass. Its 400° F thermal shock rating is high enough for use in fireplace screens and doors, but it is also suitable for many other glass applications that call for added safety and strength. Although it will occasionally break, the shard pattern of tempered glass is very different from regular glass: While regular glass breaks into large long splinters, tempered glass will completely fragment into small somewhat rounded bits. To minimize thermal shock, We recommend a clearance of at least 4" to 6" between glass surfaces and fireplace grates. Available in clear, bronze, and light gray smoked colors with thicknesses of 1/8", 3/16", or 1/4".

Tempax™ Gas Stove Insert Glass - For Gas Stoves and Inserts Only Tempax is a borosilicate glass similar to Pyrex™. The float process used in manufacturing Tempax gives it a more flawless texture and appearance than Pyrex. It is used primarily in gas stoves, and usually arranged in panes or small strips. Its thermal shock rating of 580° F and crystal-clear appearance makes it suitable for high temperature light fixtures where the added safety of tempered glass is not necessary. Due to its low mechanical strength, ordering it in large sheets is not recommended. Available in 1/8" thickness only. Mica for Wood & Coal Stoves - A Mineral for Some Older Stoves Mica is a transparent mineral used in older coal and wood stoves. It has the appearance and flexibility of clear plastic, can be cut with scissors, and withstands temperatures of 1800° F. Because it is a naturally occurring mineral, several small pieces are more affordable than a single large piece. It is available in thicknesses between .003" and .005".

Pyroceram™ and Pyrex™ are trademarks of Corning Inc. Tempax™ is a trademark of the Schott Corporation. Finally got to use these doors Replacing the glass was a breeze Show allLeave My Feedback We received our replacement glass last month and we are extremely happy with it! Thank you for being so fast and efficient while being so reasonably priced!!." Brandy F. (January 9, 2017) William (February 2, 2016) "Thoroughly impressed with your services. The glass is perfect! Brad (December 13, 2016) "I have no questions, but I would like to report that the glass arrived this afternoon (in one piece).  The size was perfect and it has been installed in the fireplace door. Thanks for the quick service and especially thanks for being a local Pennsylvania business (along Route 6)!!!

Michael (June 8, 2016) I received it and it's exactly what I ordered. Jeff H (January 3, 2017) Received my order last week. Vartan (January 17, 2016) ", and I am impressed with their customer care, they actually care!!!!. I have talked to Kimberly in person twice and communicated via email more than a couple of times in regards to getting a replacement glass for my fire-place glass bi-fold doors. Actually the glass procurement was the fast and easy part, and it came fast with accurate dimensions finished with a pencil edge that matched the other glass panels perfectly. The challenge after receiving the replacement glass was to find the proper gasket to replace the old used gaskets. Kimberly is very knowledgeable and has solutions for unique problem jobs like mine turned out to be. Rusty (January 15, 2016) "I called and spoke to a young lady that walked me through the order placement process. My glass came in quickly fit perfect very well pleased. I will definitely recommend you to my friends."

Lula C. (January 13, 2016) "After accidentally breaking the tempered glass on my fireplace, panic set it and I started searching for a place that would cut me some glass as well as temper it. After a few minutes of searching the internet, I found it. CJs Hearth and Home. I sent them my measurements and within a few days, it arrived packaged very secure. After about 5 minutes, I had it installed and had a fire built. The product was perfect." Gregg (December 21, 2015) "Received my order in less than the time expected. "Ordering was easy but I thought that I had asked to have the edges rounded and they weren't. The only other issue is that I have asked a couple of times to your customer support folks if you recommend or sell the U-Channel gasket material to set the glass into the fireplace door frames. When I took out the old glass there was a rubber u-channel gasket on all the top and bottom window edges, I would really like to know what is recommended for your hi-temp glass panes."

Jim (November 13, 2015) "Hello, I got your glass today and installed it.  I was impressed in how easy it was to put the plugs in that hold the glass in place – nice engineering there. I bought the wrong color – see the attached picture (the new pane is 2nd from left) – it should be lighter.  I’ll replace it sometime before I move out; in the mean time it’s a warning to not leave the fire unattended. Thanks for the great packaging, too – I can use that cardboard in projects so it’s going to be reused." Mike B. (November 10, 2015)I appreciate the quickness and the service of your company!!!" - Phillip A. (September 1, 2015) "As I responded above, all went well and I appreciate being able to purchase the replacement glass for my gas fireplace insert at a reasonable cost. Larry M. (February 11, 2015) "Wow, fast turn around on my order." - Judy D. (January 10, 2015) "I was concerned that the glass wouldnt be real ceramic, but it is.
