Lego sells some impressively large and obscenely expensive models (the $800 Super Star Destroyer comes to mind) but the company does have its limits. Its largest AT-AT set tops out at 1,000 pieces, but this custom build pushes that to well over 6,000, which explains why it’s so gloriously detailed. Based on an original custom model by Peter Brookdale, the folks at YouTube’s BrickVault used the designer’s instructions to buy every single one of those 6,000+ pieces from BrickLink, and then filmed a 26-hour long timelapse of themselves assembling it.The results are massive, incredibly detailed, and presumably worth the thousands of dollars required to custom order every last piece for this build.
